Uji Efektifitas Cendawan Metarhizium anisopliae untuk Mengendalikan Hama Ulat Grayak (SpodopteraLitura) pada Tanaman Sawit di Laboratorium

Abstract

"The Effectiveness Test of Metarhizium anisopliae Fungus for Controlling Grayak Caterpillars (Spodoptera Litura) On Sawi Crops In Laboratory", Thesis under the guidance of Mrs. Ir. Maimunah M. Si as the chairman and Mr. Ir. H. Gusmeizal, MP as a mentor member. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of an effective fungus Metharizium anisopliae at different spore levels to pests Spodoptera litura that attack mustard vegetable plants. This research uses Completely Randomized Design (RAL) Factorial ie instar larvae and spore density. Observation parameters observed were morphological and insect behavior and percentage mortality of insect test. The results showed that; Changes in behavior and morphology of insects in the form of slow movement, decreased appetite and larval body surface covered by the fungus is light green and dark green. The density of spores of M. anisopliae fungi against the pest of S. litura had a significant effect on the percentage of S. litura mortality since the age of 1-7 HSA. The percentage of S. litura mortality tends to increase with higher spore density of M. anisopliae and instar 3 which is more sensitive to M. anisopliae compared to instar 5. The administration of I1 shows a significant effect on the percentage mortality of S. litura.
