Abstract

This study aims to see the relationship of social support with the psychological well-being of employees of PT. Bhakti Valley Astra Argo Lestari Kab. Aceh Singkil. The hypothesis proposed is: is there a relationship between social support with psychological well-being of employees of PT. Bhakti Valley Astra Argo Lestari Kab. Aceh Singkil. In proving the above hypothesis the researcher uses data collection methods with Likert scale. The total number of population amounted to 98 employees and the total sample used is 69 employees, sample determination used purposive sampling technique where sampling based on certain criteria and ignore that is not in accordance with keriateria. The sample kiteria is the employees have been working permanently in PT. Astra Argo Lestari. The analytical method used in this research is product moment analysis, while the result of product moment analysis 1. has a significant relationship between social support and psychological welfare on employees, where the value of r = 0.644 for social support accounted for 64.4% said when the value r more than 0.50 then it is said to have a close relationship, then hypothetically accepted because of the social support affects the employees psychological well-being. 2. High social support, with an empirical mean value (75.59) greater than the hypothetical value (62.3)
