Hubungan antara Konsep Diri dengan Motivasi Belajar pada Siswa/i di SMA Gajah Mada Medan

Abstract

Self-concept is the whole point of view about himself, which includes to the ability possessed, the feelings experienced, the physical condition of himself and the immediate environment. Motivation learning is as a whole power the inner driving force of the student, ensuring continuity and provide direction learning activities, so hopefully the goal can be achieved. This study aimed to know the relationship between self-concept with motivation to learn in SMA Gajah Mada student of Medan. Hypothesis proposed In this study there is a positive relationship between self-concept with the motivation to learn in high school students elephant Mada Medan.Metode analysis data which is done in this research is Personnel analysis technique Moment. Sampling method is random sampling with number sample 63 students. Based on the calculation of product moment correlation known correlation coefficient of self concept with learning motivation is rxy = 0.696; p = 0.000 <0.050, meaning the higher the self-concept, the more also high student learning motivation, and vice versa, the lower self-concept of students, the lower the student's learning motivation. Self concept affecting students' motivation by 48%.
