Abstract: | Hotel Santika Premiere Dyandra Medan adalah salah satu hotel berbintang empat di kota Medan. Persaingan yang ketat antar hotel tersebut menyebabkan masing-masing hotel berusaha memberikan pelayanan kepada pelanggan, dan penekanan kepada kepuasan yang berdampak kepada loyalitas (kesetiaan) customer. Hotel Santika memerlukan kerja keras public relations untuk mengoptimalkan peran dan fungsi serta strategi-strategi yang dijalankan dalam usaha membantu menjaga hubungan baik dengan publiknya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan bagaimana pelaksanaan fungsi internal dan eksternal public relations Hotel Santika Premiere Dyandra Medan, terutama dalam menjaga hubungan baik dengan publik internal yaitu karyawan dan manajemen, dan menjaga hubungan baik dengan publik eksternal yaitu pelanggan dan media. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dimana yang menjadi sumber data penelitian ini adalah PR Hotel Santika Premiere Dyandra, satu orang karyawan, satu orang manajer, satu orang pelanggan dan satu orang wartawan surat kabar. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara mendalam, dokumentasi, dan studi pustaka sebagai pengumpulan datanya. Dari hasil penelitian dapat diketahui bahwa pelaksanaan fungsi internal dan eksternal public relations Hotel Santika Premiere Dyandra Medan mengadakan kegiatan karyawan outing, manajemen outbond, corporate gathering, media visit, city tour, pemberian award. PR Hotel Santika Premiere Dyandra mengedepankan adanya hubungan yang harmonis dan akrab dengan publik internal dan eksternal sebagai pelaksanaan fungsi internal dan eksternal public relations. Hubungan yang harmonis dengan publik dapat membantu memudahkan PR Hotel Santika Premiere Dyandra Medan dalam meningkatkan citra Hotel Santika Premiere Dyandra Medan dengan publiknya. |
Description: | Hotel Santika Premiere Dyandra one of the four-star hotel in the city of Medan. The intense competition among hotels that causes each hotel trying to provide service to customers, and emphasis to the satisfaction of the impact on loyalty (faithfulness) customer. Hotel Santika requires hard work to optimize the role of public relations and functions and strategies undertaken in an effort to help maintain good relations with the public. This study will describe how the implementation of the functions internal and external public relations Hotel Santika Premiere Dyandra Medan, particularly in maintaining good relations with the internal public employees and management, and maintain good relations with the external public, namely customers and media. This study used a qualitative approach in which the source of this research is PR Hotel Santika Premiere Dyandra, one employee, one manager, one customer and one newspaper reporter. Data was collected by interview, documentation, and literature as data collection. From the results of this research is that the implementation of the functions internal and external public relations Hotel Santika Premiere Dyandra Medan held the employee outing, outbound management, corporate gatherings, media visit, city tour, granting awards. PR Hotel Santika Premiere Dyandra promote a harmonious relationship and are familiar with the internal and external public as an implementation of the functions of internal and external public relations. A harmonious relationship with the public can help facilitate PR Hotel Santika Premiere Dyandra in improving the image Hotel Santika Premiere Dyandra Medan with the public. |
