Abstract: | Highway construction is one of the important means to support the development and improvement of the economy of a region. This study investigated the effect of the addition of the additive anti-stripping agent to value the stability of asphalt on 40/50 penetration, this research includes the effects of additives on the bulk density, stability, flow, cavity of mixture, cavity filled with asphalt, the aggregate cavity, and marshall quotient. Printed test specimen is 8 pieces, namely the addition of additive variation of 0.5%, 075, 1%, 1.5% of the bitumen content The purpose of this research was conducted to find a better asphalt pavements by increasing the value of stability by the addition of the additive anti striping agent. From the test results in the laboratory test marshall highway in PT. AdhiKarya (Persero) we concluded that: 1) The more the addition of the additive antistripping agent, the weight of the smaller value, the addition of additive 0.5% (2288 g / mm); 2) The more the addition of additive anti-stripping agent stability bitumen value increases, the addition of additive 1.5% (1237 kg) 3) Value flow the minimum is 3.48% on the addition of the additive of 0.5%; 4) The maximum value of the cavity of the mixture was 4.35% on a 0.5% addition of additives; 5) The maximum value of the cavity filled with asphalt on the addition of the additive of 0.75% ie 75.65%; 6) The maximum value is achieved is the addition of the additive is 0.5% ie 16.55%; 7) The more substances were added additive marshall quotient value is higher (351 kg / mm) in the addition of the additive of 1.5% |
Description: | Konstruksi jalan raya merupakan salah satu sarana penting sebagai pendukung perkembangan dan peningkatan perekonomian suatu wilayah. Penelitian ini meneliti pengaruh penambahan zat additive anti striping agent terhadap nilai stabiltas aspal pada penetrasi 40/50 , penilitian ini meliputi pengaruh additive terhadap berat isi, stabilitas, kelelehan, rongga terhadap campuran, rongga terisi aspal, rongga terhadap agregat, dan marshall quotient. Benda uji yang dicetak adalah 8 buah yaitu dengan variasi penambahan additive 0.5%, 075, 1%, 1,5% dari kadar aspal. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mencari perkerasan aspal yang lebih baik melalui peningkatan nilai stabilitas berdasarkan penambahan zat additive anti striping agent . Dari hasil pengujian marshall test di laboratorium jalan raya di PT. Adhi Karya (Persero) diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa: 1) Semakin banyak penambahan zat additive anti striping agent maka nilai berat isi semakin kecil, pada penambahan additive 0.5% (2.288 gram/mm); 2) Semakin banyak penambahan additive anti striping agent nilai stabiltas aspal semakin meningkat, pada penambahan additive 1.5% ( 1237 kg) 3) Nilai kelelehan yang paling minimum adalah 3,48% pada penambahan additive 0,5%; 4) Nilai maksimum rongga terhadap campuran adalah 4,35% pada penambahan 0.5% additive; 5) Nilai maksimum rongga terisi aspal pada penambahan additive 0,75% yaitu 75,65%; 6) Nilai maksimum yang dicapai adalah pada penambahan additive 0.5% yaitu 16,55%; 7) Semakin banyak zat additive yang ditambahkan nilai marshall quotient semakin tinggi yaitu (351 kg/mm) pada penambahan additive 1,5% |
