Analisis Faktor-Faktor Perilaku Kriminalitas Pencurian Pada Narapidana di Kepolisian Resort Kota Binjai

Abstract

This research is a descriptive quantitative research that aims to analyze the factor that influence criminal theft behavior on convict in Resort Police Office of Binjai City. The behavior of criminal theft is the person who takes the other person’s property secretly or secretly in an illegal way. According Bawengan (1997) factors that influence criminal theft behavior of internal and external factors. Internal factors include, the power of emotional problems, low mental, personality, age, and education. While external factors include, social environment, economy, family factors, the influence of film, and unemployment. The scale used is the scale of behavioral theft crime factors are compiled using Likert scale, containing 35 items. This research uses sampling method with total sampling technique and number of samples counted 60 prisoners at Resort Police Office of Binjai. The reliability test results show that the Alpha Croncbach value is 0.836, and the result of the validity test shows that the Pearson value is rbt = 0.653 to rbt = 0.886. Based on the results of the analysis, it was found that the factors that influence the criminal behavior of the theft at the Resort Police Officer of Kota Binjai are emotional problems with the percentage of 25%, the low mental (ability problem) with the percentage of 22%, the family problem with the percentage of 20% social environment with the percentage of 18%, and the last personality problem with a percentage of 15%. These results indicate that the most dominant factor is the emotional problem with the percentage of 25% and the lowest is the personality problem with the percentage of 15%.
