Hubungan Kematangan Emosi dengan Penyesuaian Diri pada Masa Pernikahan Awal di Desa Wih Porak Kabupaten Bener Meriah

Abstract

This study aims to see the relationship of Emotional Maturity with Self Adjustment in Wih Porak Village, Bener Meriah Regency. Hypothesis proposed there is a positive relationship between Emotional Maturity with Self Adjustment in Wih Porak Village, Bener Meriah Regency. The population in this study amounted to 300 people. The sampling technique is purposive sampling. Methods of data collection is the scale of Adjustment and Emotional Maturity. Data analysis using Likert Model analysis. From the results of the study can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between Self Adjustment and Emotional Maturity. It is proposed from the coefficient R = 0.491; p = 0.001 means p = <0.05 which means that the higher the Emotional Maturity then the higher one's Self Adjustment in Wih Porak Village, Bener Meriah Regency. Based on the results of this study, the proposed hypothesis is accepted. Based on the determinant coefficient (r2) of the above relation is 0.241. This shows that the adjustment is influenced by emotional maturity of 24.1%. From this result it is known that there is still 75.9% contribution from other factors to Adjustment. It is known that the subject of research in Wih Porak Village Bener Meriah Regency has a high Emotional Maturity and has a Self Adjustment that is high.
