Pengaruh Kebijakan Kepala Sekolah Terhadap Kinerja Guru dan Pegawai SMP Negeri 1 Koto Balingka Kabupaten Pasaman Barat

Abstract

Education is one of the most important in the development of human resources, then educators and education must have a very big responsibility in developing knowledge, so that the quality standards of educators need to be improved. The focus of this research is the influence of the principal's policy on the performance of teachers and employees in SMP Negeri 1 Koto Balingka, West Pasaman District. With the formulation of the problem whether the influence of principal policy can affect the performance of teachers and employees. The purpose of this study is to determine whether the principal's policy is influential or not in improving the performance of teachers and employees. The method used in this research is quantitative method with associative approach. The population in this study were all teachers and staffs at SMP Negeri 1 Koto Balingka Pasaman Barat Regency, which amounted to 32 teachers and employees from principals, teachers and school staff. data collection is done by spreading questionnaires / questionnaires and observation and literature. The sampling technique using the data testing techniques used in this study includes the validity test with factor analysis, product moment correlation test, significant test with the formula t, test determinant, to test how much influence between variable x with variable y. Based on the scores in the results of the study showed that, there is a significant influence between the principal's policy on the performance of teachers and employees, with a correlation coefficient in the can of 0.9 which shows the number of r count is between 0.80 ˃1.00 which explains that the relationship very strong. Thus it can be seen that the principal policy variable contributes 81% to the performance of teachers and employees.
