Pengaruh Pengawasan dan Kompensasi Terhadap Disiplin Kerja Karyawan Hotel Grand Sakura Medan

Abstract

This study aims to determine the "Influence of Supervision and Compensation Against Employee Discipline Grand Sakura Hotel Medan". This type of research is associative is a research that is asking the relationship between two variables. The population in this study is all consumers who ever bought a car At Grand Sakura Hotel Medan as many as 200 employees. And by using the slovin formula technique, the number of samples in this study as many as 67 respondents taken from some population. Based on t test results can be seen that t arithmetic on control variables of 3059 is greater than t table of 1667 with probability t ie sig 0.003 smaller than the limit of significance of 0.05. Based on these values, the control variables have a positive and significant effect on the variables of work discipline. In the compensation variable of 3.206 is greater than t table of 1667 with the probability t ie sig 0.002 smaller than the limit of significance of 0.05, then the variable compensation partially have a positive and significant influence on the variable of work discipline. Based on the result of F test, it is obtained the value of F count of 31.812> 3.17 with sig 0,000 <0,05, shows Ho rejected and Ha accepted, means supervision and compensation simultaneously affect positively and significantly to the variable of work discipline. 0.483. To see the great influence of independent variables on dependent variable by calculating the coefficient of determination (KD) = R2 x 100%, so obtained KD = 48.3%. This figure indicates that 48.3% work discipline (dependent variable) can be explained by supervision and compensation. The remaining 51,% is influenced by other factors not described in this study.
