Pengaruh Pengawasan dan Komunikasi Terhadap Kinerja Pegawai Honor Dinas Kebersihan dan Pertamanan Kota Medan

Abstract

This study aims to determine the Influence of Supervision and Communication Against the Performance of Officials of City Sanitation and Gardening Agency. This type of research is associative is a research that is asking the relationship between two variables. The population in this study is all employees of the Department of Hygiene and Gardening Medan as much as 382 employees. And by using technique sample saturated, then the number of samples in this study as much as 80 respondent taken from some population. Based on t test results can be seen that t arithmetic on control variables of 3.452 is greater than t table of 2000 with probability t sig 0.000 smaller than the limit of significance of 0.05. Based on these values, the control variables have a positive and significant effect on the performance variables. In communication variable equal to 2,250 bigger than t table equal to 2.000 with probability t sig 0,002 smaller than limit of significance equal to 0,05 then partial communication variable have positive and significant influence to performance variable. Based on the result of F test, it is obtained F count value 102.297> 3.20 with sig 0,000 < 0,05 which means supervision and communication simultaneously have positive and significant effect to performance variable. Adjusted R Square value obtained is 0,727. To see the big influence of independent variable to dependent variable by calculating coefficient of determination (KD) = R2 x 100%, so obtained KD = 72,7%. The figure shows that 72.7% performance (dependent variable) can be explained by supervision and communication. The remaining 17.2% is influenced by other factors not described in this study.
