Model Komunikasi Antara Etnis Gayo dan Etnis Jawa di Gampong Petukel Blang Jorong Kecamatan Bandar Kabupaten Bener Meriah Provinsi Aceh

Abstract

This study aims to find the model of intercultural communication and the factors of the creation of harmonization of relationship between gayo ethnic and java ethnic in the village of Blang Jorong district Bandar district Bener Meriah province of Aceh. The type of research conducted is qualitative research, that is, the study of the fold describes the situation and events. The data is stated in a reasonable state or as it is, by exposing how the work is systematically folded, directed and accountable, so as not to lose its scientific nature, data collection techniques used are observations, document review, and interviews. Result of research indicate that communication model between ethnic Gayo and ethnic Java in Blang Jorong Village sub district of Bener Meriah of Aceh Province. Namely the mutual respect and respect interethnic customs, ethnic Gayo respect and appreciate Javanese ethnic customs and vice versa, and because of their assimilation intercultural.
