Abstract

English : The research was conducted to determine the presence of borax in food products which were made from meat. The research was performed descriptively used turmeric and onion extracts. The data collecting was through 60 samples consists of 20 meatball samples, 20 sausage samples and 20 nugget samples from food sellers in 20 elementary schools in Percut Sei Tuan Sub-District. The result showed that none of the samples contained borax.
