Skripsi di bawah bimbingan Prof. Dr. Ir. Ahmad Rafiqi Tantawi, MS., selaku Pembimbing I dan Dr. Ir. Sumihar Hutapea, MS., selaku Pembimbing II. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui formulasi media tumbuh yang terbaik bagi jamur tiram putih (Pleurotus ostreatus), yang dilaksanakan di Sumatera Kebun Jamur, Jalan Benteng Hilir No.19 Bandar Khalifah, Kecamatan Percut Sei Tuan dengan ketinggian 12 m dpl, topografi datar dan jenis tanah alluvial. Penelitian ini dimulai dari bulan Mei sampai dengan Agustus 2017. Rancangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) Non Faktorial dengan perlakuan faktor formulasi media tumbuh yang terdiri dari 5 taraf perlakuan, yakni : J0 = formulasi serbuk kayu (kontrol); J1 = serbuk tongkol jagung 25% + 75% formulasi serbuk kayu; J2 = serbuk tongkol jagung 50% + 50% formulasi serbuk kayu; J3 = serbuk tongkol jagung 75% + 25% formulasi serbuk kayu; dan J4 = serbuk tongkol jagung 100%. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan ulangan sebanyak 4 ulangan. Parameter yang diamati dalam penelitian ini adalah persentase hidup miselium, pertumbuhan miselium menutup substrat (cm), umur munculnya tubuh buah (hari), diameter tudung buah (cm), dan berat basah panen (gr). Adapun hasil yang telah diperoleh dari penelitian ini adalah formulasi media tumbuh yang terdiri dari perbandingan antara serbuk tongkol jagung dan serbuk kayu berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap pertumbuhan miselium menutup substrat, umur munculnya tubuh buah, diameter tudung buah dan berat basah panen, tetapi berpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap persentase hidup miselium. Dalam kaitannya dengan produksi jamur tiram putih, ternyata diperoleh media dari serbuk kayu 100% (J0) masih merupakan media terbaik. Namun hasil ini tidak jauh berbeda dengan produksi yang dihasilkan dari media J1, sehingga media yang terdiri dari campuran 25% serbuk tongkol jagung dan 75% serbuk kayu ini dapat diaplikasikan sebagai media alternatif. | en_US |

Essay. under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Ir. Ahmad Rafiqi Tantawi, MS., As Advisor I and Dr. Ir. Sumihar Hutapea, MS., As Advisor II. This study aims to determine the best growing media formulation for white oyster mushroom (Pleurotus ostreatus), which was carried out in Sumatra Mushroom Garden, Jalan Benteng Hilir No.19 Bandar Khalifah, Percut Sei Tuan District with a height of 12 m above sea level, flat topography and soil type alluvial.This study aims to determine the best growing media formulations for white oyster mushrooms (Pleurotus ostreatus). Data collection technique in this study is using Non-Factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with growing media formulation treatment factor consisting of 5 treatment levels, namely: J0 = wood powder formulation (control); J1 = corn cobs powder 25% + 75% wood powder formulations; J2 = corncob powder 50% + 50% wood powder formulation; J3 = 75% corn cobs powder + 25% wood powder formulations; and J4 = 100% corn cobs powder. This research was carried out with 4 replications. The parameters observed in this study were the percentage of mycelium life, mycelium growth covering the substrate (cm), the age of appearance of the fruit body (days), the diameter of the fruit hood (cm), and the wet weight of the harvest (gr). The results obtained from this study are growth media formulation which consists of a comparison between corncob powders and wood powder has a very significant effect on the growth of mycelium covering the substrate, the age of appearance of the fruit body, the diameter of the fruit hood and the wet weight of harvest, but not significantly affected percentage of mycelium life.. In relation to the production of white oyster mushrooms, it turns out that media obtained from 100% wood powder (J0) is still the best medium. However, these results are not much different from the production produced from J1 media, so that the media consisting of a mixture of 25% corn cobs powder and 75% wood powder can be applied as an alternative medium. | en_US |
