Perbedaan Stres Kerja Ditinjau dari Tipe Kepribadian A dan B pada Perawat Ruang Rawat Inap di RSUD H. Abdul Manan Sumatupang Kisaran

Abstract

This study aims to see differences in work stress in terms of personality types A and B in nurses of H. Abdul Manan Simatupang Kisaran Hospital. The sample in this study were nurses who served in the inpatient room which numbered 107 nurses. In line with the existing discussion in theory, the hypothesis of this study is that there are differences in work stress in terms of personality types A and B in nurses in the inpatient ward of H. Abdul Manan Simatupang Kisaran Hospital, assuming nurses with Type A personality are more stressful than nurses with Type B personality The sampling technique in this study is total sampling, which is the total population used as a research sample. This study uses the scale of personality types A and B and the scale of work stress characteristics. To determine the personality type in nurses, researchers used screening that was conducted simultaneously with the implementation of the study. Data collection for screening uses the Guttman scale, while for work stress using a Likert scale. The hypothesis test used in this study is Analysis of Variance 1 Pathway. Based on the results of the calculation of the 1- path analysis, it is known that there is a significant difference between work stress in terms of personality type, type A and type B. This result is known by looking at the difference value or coefficient of Anava F = 141,923 with p = 0,000 <0,050. That way, the hypothesis that says there is a difference in work stress in terms of personality types A and B in nurses inpatient rooms is declared acceptable.
