Abstract: This study aims to determine differences in student stress levels in terms of the full day learning system and the half day learning system in MAN 2 Model Medan and Al-Ulum Medan Private High School using quantitative research methods. To get data about stress levels, researchers used several research subjects in MAN 2 Models and Al-Ulum Private High Schools. The number of samples in this study were 132 students of MAN 2 Model and 38 students of Al-Ulum Private High School. Data collection techniques in this study were using a Likert scale, which was arranged based on three stress levels, namely, mild stress, moderate stress, and high stress. The three stress levels are arranged into seventy-two items distributed to students in MAN 2 Model schools and Al-Ulum Private High Schools. The data analysis method used in this study used the Pathway Variant Analysis method to test the hypothesis of differences in student stress levels in terms of the full day learning system and the half day learning system. Based on the analysis, the results showed that there were differences in stress levels between students with full day learning systems and students with the half day learning system, with the value of Variant Analysis 1 Path F = 1,112 with p = 0,000 < 0,050. With the stress level students with full day learning system are in the moderate category with an empirical mean of 129,67, and the stress level of students with the half day learning system is in the low category with an empirical mean of 79,55.
Description: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan tingkat stres siswa ditinjau dari sistem belajar full day dan sistem belajar half day di MAN 2 Model Medan dan SMA Swasta Al-Ulum Medan dengan menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif.
