dc.descriptionPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan budaya organisasi dengan employee engagement pada karyawan Hotel Grand Inna Medan. Populasi penelitian berjumlah 103 orang dan subjek penelitian adalah karyawan tetap yang berusia di atas 24 tahun yang berjumlah 45 karyawan. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan skala budaya organisasi dan skala employee engagement. Analisis data menggunakan teknik korelasi product moment menemukan hasil bahwa (rxy) sebesar 0.487 dengan P = 0,000 < 0,05, artinya terdapat hubungan positif antara budaya organisasi dengan employee engagement pada karyawan yang menunjukkan bahwa semakin kuat budaya organisasi maka semakin tinggi employee engagement. Budaya organisasi diketahui tergolong kuat (mean empiric= 95,96 > mean hipotetik = 82,5 dimana selisihnya melebihi bilangan SD = 5,619). Employee engagement juga tergolong tinggi (mean empirik= 54,11 > mean hipotetik = 50 dimana selisihnya melebihi bilangan SD = 2,656). Koefisien determinasi r2 = 0,238 menunjukan bahwa budaya organisasi memberikan sumbangan terhadap employee engagement sebesar 23,8%.en_US
dc.description.abstractThis study aims to see the correlation of organizational culture with employee engagement in employee of Grand Inna Medan Hotel. The study population amounted to 103 people and the study subject were employees aged over 24 year which amounted to 45 employee. Sampling technique using purposive sampling technique. The data were collected using organizational culture scale and employee engagement scale. Data analysis using correlation technique found results that (rxy) of 0.487 with p = 0.000 <0,05, meaning there is a positive relationship between organizational culture with employee engagement in employee which indicate that the stronger organizational culture hence the higher employee engagement. The organizational culture is known to be strong (mean empirical = 95,96 > Hypothetical mean = 82,5 where the difference exceeds SD number = 5,619). Employee engagement is also high (empirical mean = 54,11 > Hypothetical mean = 50 where the difference exceeds SD number = 2,656). The coefficient of determination r2= 0,238 shown that organizational culture contributes to employee engagement of 23.8%.en_US
