dc.descriptionPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan antara Gaya Kepemimpinan Transaksional dengan Motivasi Kerja di PT. Asuransi Jiwa Mandiri Inhealth Indonesia Kantor Operasional Medan. Hipotesis yang diajukan ada hubungan positif antara Gaya Kepemimpinan Transaksional dengan Motivasi Kerja pada karyawan PT. Asuransi Jiwa Mandiri Inhealth Indonesia Kantor Operasional Medan. Populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 48 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik total sampling. Metode pengumpulan data adalah skala Kepemimpinan Transaksional dan Motivasi Kerja. Analisa data menggunakan analisis Product Moment (rxy)yaitu sebesar 0,950; p = 0,000, berarti p < 0,01, artinya terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara kepemimpinan transaksional dengan motivasi kerja pada karyawan yang menunjukkan bahwa semakin tinggi ke pemimpinan transaksional maka semakin tinggi motivasi kerja pada karyawan. Gaya kepemimpinan transaksional dalam penelitian ini tergolong tinggi karena (mean empirik =73,09 > mean hipotetik = 55 dimana selisihnya melebihi bilangan SD = 8,451). Dan motivasi kerja juga tergolong tinggi, karena (mean empirik =139,05 > mean hipotetik = 107,5 dimana selisihnya melebihi bilangan SD = 15,758). Adapun koefisien determinasi dari korelasi tersebut sebesar R2 = 0,903 gaya kepemimpinan transaksional memberikan sumbangan terhadap motivasi kerja sebesar 90,3%. Hasil penelitian ini sesuai hipotesis dengan hasil penelitian di lapangan.en_US
dc.description.abstractThis study aims to look at the relationship between Transactional Leadership Style and Work Motivation at PT. Mandiri Inhealth Indonesia Life Insurance Medan Operations Office. The hypothesis proposed is that there is a positive relationship between Transactional Leadership Style and Work Motivation in PT employees. Mandiri Inhealth Indonesia Life Insurance Medan Operations Office. The population in this study amounted to 48 people. The sampling technique uses total sampling technique. The method of data collection is the Transactional Leadership and Work Motivation scale. Data analysis using Product Moment (rxy) analysis which is equal to 0.950; p = 0,000, which means p <0.01, meaning that there is a positive and significant relationship between transactional leadership and work motivation on employees which shows that the higher the transactional leadership, the higher the work motivation for employees. The transactional leadership style in this study is classified as high because (empirical mean = 73.09> hypothetical mean = 55 where the difference exceeds SD = 8.451). And work motivation is also high, because (mean empirical = 139.05> mean hypothetical = 107.5 where the difference exceeds SD number = 15,758). The coefficient of determination of the correlation is equal to R2 = 0.903, the transactional leadership style contributes to work motivation by 90.3%. The results of this study are in accordance with the hypothesis with the results of research in the field.en_US
