Perbedaan Motivasi Berprestasi Ditinjau dari Tipe Kepribadian A dan B pada Siswa SMK Tritech Informatika

Abstract

This study aims to determine the difference in achievement motivation in terms of Tritech Vocational Students' personality. Achievement motivation is a term that refers to the power of attraction and encouragement that will result in the persistence of behavior directed towards achieving goals. This study uses a quantitative approach with a sample of 64 students, The sampling technique uses Incidental Sampling and the data analysis technique used in this study is Analysis of Variance 1 Pathway. Based on the theoretical review above and based on the description of the problem presented, the research hypothesis is proposed as follows: There are differences in achievement motivation in terms of student personality types. Based on data analysis is known by looking at the value or difference coefficient F = 135.862 has a significance of 0.000 <0.050. With the results of the calculation of hypothetical and empirical mean values known motivation for achievement of personality type A with SD = 9.516 Hypothetical average score of 95 and the average Empiric value of 108.03 is categorized as High, while the achievement motivation for personality type B with SD = 5.742 Average value Hypothesis 95 and mean Empirical 84.16 are categorized as Low. the results of the study were obtained: there were differences in learning motivation between personality type A and personality type B.
