Analisis Faktor yang Mempengaruhi Minat Warga dalam Mengembangkan Ternak Sapi Potong (Studi Kasus: Nagori Tempel Jaya, Kcematan Bosar Maligas, Kabupaten Simalungun)

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out what factors influence people's interest in developing beef cattle. The sampling method was carried out using the Simple Random Sampling method, based on this study of the 176 population of beef cattle breeders available, 37 farmers were taken as samples. The analytical method used is multiple linear regression with SPSS 21 device assist. The results of this study: (1) There is a positive effect of variable farm experience on people's interest in developing beef cattle in Nagori Tempel Jaya. (2) There is no influence of Seed Price, Breeders' Education, and Age of Farmers on the interest of citizens in developing beef cattle in Nagori Tempel Jaya. (3). Of the several variables used in this study, R Square was 0.371, meaning that there were 37.1% of the influence of these variables on the interest of farmers. The conclusion of this study is that the Animal Experience Variable has a significant effect on interest of 0.002 units, while the Seed Price, Breeders 'Education, and Breeders' Variables have no effect on the interest in beef cattle breeding.
