Hubungan antara Efikasi Diri dengan Kematangan Karir pada Siswa Kelas X di SMAN 1 Seruway

Abstract

The purpose of this research to know correlation between self-efficacy and career maturity in SMA. N. 1. SERUWAY. Career maturity is the ability of students to plan, prepare, and make carrer decisions on an understanding of self ability and career information. Self efficacy is a person’s belief in his ability to overcome all situation in his life. Sample of the research are 51 students of class X taken uses purposive sampling technique. The research data obtained with self efficacy scale arranged from aspects of self-efficacy and dimension of career maturity scale. Data analysis used Product Moment with the help of SPSS 21.0 for Windows. Based on the results of the analysis of product moment correlation between self-efficacy and career maturity, rxy obtained by rxy = 0.664 with p = 0.000 <0.300 which means the hypothesis in this study is accepted . The contribution of the effectiveness of the variable X to the Y variable is 0.440 or 40%, meaning that the efficacy can affect career maturity in SMA. N.1. SERUWAY.
