Hubungan antara Manajemen Waktu dengan Prokrastinasi Akademik pada Mahasiswa yang Sedang Mengerjakan Skripsi

Abstract

This study aims to see the relation between time management with academic procrastination for students who are working on their thesis. The method used in this research is Quantitative method. The sample of this study was 50 people consisting of 38 men and 12 women. With the hypothesis there is a relationship between time management and academic procrastination for students who are working on their thesis. Measurement of data using a likert scale, to test the proposed hypothesis is done using the product moment correlation analysis technique. Based on the results of the data analysis, the results showed that there was a negative relationship between time management and academic procrastination. This result is known by looking at time management for students with an empirical mean of 49,26 and a hypothetical mean of 50. Whereas academic procrastination for students with an empirical mean of 83,80 and a hypothetical mean of 80. This means that the proposed hypothesis is accepted. This result is obtained by seeing that the empirical mean is higher than the hypothetical mean. This states that academic procrastination is higher with p=0.000 (p<0.050). so this means the lower time management ability of students than the higher academic procrastination.
