Analisa Pemilihan Moda Angkutan Penumpang Kapal Ferry (PT.ASDP) & Kapal Cepat (SWASTA) Rute Singkil - Pulau Banyak

Abstract

The study purpose to test empirically the travel costs affect, the departure schedules and the security/safety towards the satisfaction level. The analysis used the independent variables namely travel costs, the departure schedules, and the security/safety whereas the dependent variable was the satisfaction level. Then, through distributing the questionnaeires directly to the respondents of each ship and 50 respondents were chosen through the multiple regression analysis by the statistica hypothesis test t. the results showed that the liniear equation of the speed boats was y=3.607 + 0.001 X1 - 0.019 x2 + X3 (travel costs and security/safety) it meant that X2 and X3 (departure schedules and security/safety) also affect the satisfaction value. thus, the ferry boats were more excellent than the speed boats with a value of 91.7%
