HbA1c (Hemoglobin Glikosilasi) pada Penderita Diabetes Melitus Tipe H di Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Deli Serdang Lubuk Pakam

Abstract

This study aimsed to analyze the levels of HbA1c in Type II Diabetes Mellitus Patients. The research was conducted descriptive by analytic. Data is taken by recording medical record data of type II diabetes mellitus patients. The research was carried at Deli Serdang Lubuk Pakam Hospital Laboratory obtained 160 samples of Type II DM patients. The number of female patients is higher (55%) than male (45%). A total of (58.75%) have HbA1c levels > 8%, (20%) have HbA1c levels of 6.5 - 8% and (21.25%) have HbA1c levels < 6.5%. From the above HbA1c results it can be concluded majority of patients have poor DM control criteria (58.75%), (20%) have moderate DM control criteria, and (21.25%) have good DM control criteria.
