Abstract

The automotive world is developing more rapidly, but it is also followed by the development of various supporting components. , the suspension system is the part of the motorcycle that functions to absorb vibrations and shocks from the road surface, thereby increasing safety, comfort, and driving stability. Problematic suspensions are often caused by damage to the seal shock. To replace the shock seal is still using the manual method that is gouging the seal out of the outer tube of the motorcycle and requires a long processing time. In conducting the experiment, it was found that in opening the shock seal the sport motorcycle needed 75 seconds to remove it from the shock tube. In addition, the time required to open the shock seal matic and mopet takes 55 seconds. To install a new seal requires 40 seconds for all types of motorcycle shock in manual handling, it takes 5 minutes to 7 minutes to open and install the shock seal. This can take longer if the binding bolts contained under the shock tube become corrosion making it more difficult to open it.
