Abstract:	Islam strongly emphasizes the values of tasamuh or tolerance. But we need to understand that tolerance has limits that we have to use as a guide. The Apostle once said that no one should hurt the infidels dzimmi, if anyone hurts the infidels dzimmi it means the same as hurting the Apostle. Kafir dzimmi is an infidel who lives peacefully, side by side, cooperating with Muslims.In terms of celebrating, Ibn Taimiyah and Ibn al-Jauziyah Qoyyim once said that if we celebrate then it comes in a concept resembling. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: "Whosoever resembles a people, he belongs to that people." By letting them perform the ritual without disturbing it, it's part of tolerance. That's the hallmark of Muslims.
Description:	Islam sangat menekankan nilai-nilai tasamuh atau toleransi. Tapi perlu kita pahami bahwa toleransi itu memiliki batasan-batasan yang harus kita jadikan sebagai panduan. Rasul pernah mengatakan agar jangan ada yang menyakiti kafir dzimmi, kalau ada yang menyakiti kafir dzimmi itu artinya sama dengan menyakiti Rasul. Kafir dzimmi adalah kafir yang hidup damai, berdampingan, saling bekerjasama dengan umat Islam.Dalam hal merayakan, Ibnu Taimiyah dan Ibnul Qoyyim Al-Jauziyah pernah mengatakan bahwa jika kita merayakan maka itu masuk dalam konsep menyerupai. Rasulullah mengatakan, “Siapa yang menyerupai suatu kaum maka ia termasuk dalam kaum tersebut.” Dengan kita membiarkan mereka melakukan ritualnya tanpa mengganggunya, itu sudah bagian dari toleransi. Itulah ciri dari umat Islam.
