Abstract: Pada perancangan alat pencuci wortel yang ergonomi sangat dibutuhkan ukuran dimensi tubuh yang pas dengan ukuran alat pencuci wortel. Saat ini sudah ada alat pencuci wortel yang dirancang dan di rakit oleh penduduk desa merek, kecamatan merek, kabupaten karo. Alat pencuciwortel tersebut memang cukup membantu para petani dan pedagang dalam mencuci wortel, efek menggunakan alat pencuciwortel tersebut terlalu lama dan mengakibatkan badan akan terasa pegal-pegal terutama pada lengan tangan, pingang dan punggung. Paparan di atas menggambarkan bahwa pekerjan ini memerlukan suatu alat pencuci wortel yang dapat meminimalkan waktu pencucian wortel dan mengurangi keluhan perkerja dari rasa pegal-pegal dan waktu pengerjaan yang lebih singkat, sehingga berpengaruh terhadap efektif dan efisien proses persiapan hasil panen. Struktur komponen-komponen mesin pencuci wortel terdiri dari rangka,conveyor,motor penggerak,gearbox,danpompa air. DragForce = 547200 N, Daya mesin T = 7,961 Nm, daya poros mesin = 2999,32 watt,dan daya mesin = 9,89 rpm. In the design of an ergonomic carrot washer really needed body dimensions that fit the size of the carrot washer. At present there are carrot washers that are designed and assembled by the residents of the village of Merek, Kecamatan, Karo district. The carrot washer is indeed quite helpful for farmers and traders in washing carrots, the effect of using the carrot washer too long and resulted in the body will feel achy especially on the arms, legs and back. The above description illustrates that this job requires a carrot washer that can minimize the washing time of carrots and reduce labor complaints from aches and shorter processing time, so that it influences the effective and efficient preparation of the crop. The structure of the components of the carrot washer consists of a frame, conveyor, drive motor, gearbox and water pump. DragForce F_d = 547200 N, Engine power T = 7.961 Nm, engine shaft power = 2999.32 watts, and engine power = 9.89 rpm.
