Title: Hubungan Harga Diri dan Pendapatan dengan Subjective Well Being pada Guru SMA Negeri 1 Sunggal Deli Serdang

Abstract: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah: Pertama, untuk mengetahui hubungan harga diri dengan subjective well beingpada guru di SMA Negeri 1 Sunggal Deli Serdang, Kedua, untuk mengetahui hubungan pendapatan dengan subjective well beingpada guru di SMA Negeri 1 Sunggal Deli Serdang, Ketiga, untuk mengetahui hubungan harga diri dan pendapatan dengan subjective well beingpada guru di SMA Negeri 1 Sunggal Deli Serdang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif asosiatif. Populasi adalah guru-guru SMA Negeri 1 Sunggal sebanyak 55 orang dan sampel merupakan total populasi yaitu 55 responden. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner yang terdiri dari subjective well being, harga diri dan pendapatan. Sebelum instrumen penelitian dipakai, terlebih dahulu dilakukan uji validitas dan reliabilitas. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji regresi linier berganda. Tahapan dalam metode analisa data terdiri dari uji normalitas, uji linieritas, uji hipotesis dan koefisien determinasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: Pertama,ada hubungan yang positif antara harga diri dengan subjective well being, Kedua, ada hubungan yang positif antara pendapatan dengan subjective well being, Ketiga, ada hubungan yang positif antara harga diri dan pendapatan dengan subjective well-being.Harga diri dan pendapatan mampu menjelaskan variasi subjective well being sebesar 65,7% dan selebihnya yaitu 34,3% dijelaskan variabel lain yang tidak diteliti.Dari hasil penelitian yang diperoleh disarankan kepada guru untuk meningkatkan subjective well being maka guru dapat mempelajarinya melalui beberapa referensi sehingga kepuasan dan kebahagian tidak hanya diperoleh melalui harga diri dan pendapatan, akan tetapi lebih dari itu, guru memperoleh pemahaman yang lebih mendalam tentang subjective well being. The purpose of this study are: First, to find out the relationship of self-esteem with subjective well being in teachers in SMA Negeri 1 Sunggal Deli Serdang, Second, to determine the relationship of income with subjective well being in teachers in SMA Negeri 1 Sunggal Deli Serdang, Third, to find out the relationship of self-esteem and income with subjective well-being of teachers at SMA Negeri 1 Sunggal Deli Serdang. This type of research is associative quantitative research. The population is 55 high school teachers of Sunggal 1 State and the sample is the total population of 55 respondents. The instrument used in this study used a questionnaire consisting of subjective well being, self-esteem and income. Before the research instruments are used, validity and reliability tests are first performed. Data analysis techniques using multiple linear regression test.The stages in the data analysis method consist of normality test, linearity test, hypothesis test and coefficient of determination. The results showed: First, there is a positive relationship between self-esteem and subjective well-being, Second, there is a positive relationship between income and subjective well-being, Third, there is a positive relationship between self-esteem and income with subjective well-being. Self-esteem and income are able to explain the variation of subjective well-being of 65.7% and the remaining 34.3% is explained by other variables not examined. From the results of the research obtained it is suggested to the teacher to improve subjective well being, the teacher can learn it through several references so that satisfaction and happiness are not only obtained through self-esteem and income, but more than that, the teacher gains a deeper understanding of subjective well being.
