Abstract: | Alat penukar kalor merupakan peralatan yang berguna untuk mengubah temperatur maupun fasa fluida dengan cara menyerap atau melepaskan kalor antara fluida panas dengan fluida dingin. Salah satu jenis alat penukar kalor yang paling banyak digunakan di industry adalah shell and tube. alat penukar kalor yang optimal memiliki peranan penting guna menunjang kestabilan produksi diberbagai industri. Kinerja heat exchanger shell and tube dipengaruhi oleh faktor pengotor atau fouling yang merupakan pembentukan deposit pada permukaan alat penukar kalornya yang dapat menghambat perpindahan panas dan serta meningkatkan hambatan aliran fluida pada alat penukar kalor tersebut. Terkait faktor pengotor tersebut maka perlu dilakukan analisis mengenai pengaruh faktor pengotor terhadap kinerja dari alat penukar kalor tersebut. Setelah dilakukan analisis diketahui bahwa laju aliran masa gas buang adalah 0,06523 kg/s, efektifitas alat penukar kalor adalah 66,837%, luasan keseluruhan kotor adalah 3,317350717 m2, serta luasan perpindahan panas efektif adalah 2,211567145 m2 Heat Exchanger is a tool that is useful for changing the temperature and fluid phase by absorbing or releasing heat between hot fluid and cold fluid. One type of heat exchanger that is most widely used in industry is shell and tube. The optimal performance heat exchanger has an important role in supporting the stability of production in various industries. The performance of the heat exchanger and tubing is influenced by fouling or fouling factors, which are deposits on the surface of the heat exchanger which can inhibit heat transfer and increase the resistance to fluid flow in the heat exchanger. Regarding these impurity factors, it is necessary to analyze the effect of impurity factors on the performance of the heat exchanger. After analyzing it is known that the flow rate of the flue gas flow is 0.06523 kg / s, the effectiveness of the heat exchanger is 66.837%, the overall gross area is 3.317350717 m2, and the area of the effective heat area is 2.211567145 m2 |
