Abstract: | Irigasi sebagai salah satu sarana pemanfaatan sumber daya air mempunyai fungsi sebagai penyediaan, pengaturan dan penyaluran air untuk menunjang pertanian. Daerah Irigasi Sei Ular berada di Wilayah Sungai Strategis Nasional Belawan Ular Padang yang merupakan Wilayah Kerja Balai Wilayah Sungai Sumatera II dengan memiliki Luas Daerah Aliran Sungai sekitar ± 18.500 Ha yang terdiri dari 9 (sembilan) Free Intake (pengambilan bebas) yang dapat mengairi areal persawahan pada Kabupaten Deli Serdang dan Kabupaten Serdang Bedagai. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh besarnya volume air pada petak sawah, dan tingkat efisiensi serta efektifitas saluran sekunder Daerah Irigasi Sumber Rejo. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode Long Person III untuk perhitungan distribusi air hujan, Metode Emperis dan Metode Penmann Modifikasi yaitu untuk menentukan ketersediaan air atau debit andalan digunakan. Dari pengukuran debit air, maka didapat efisiensi dan efektifitas saluran. Hasil penelitian yang didapatkan berdasarkan analisis didapat besar volume air petak sawah untuk Tanaman Padi DR periode I = 1,385 lt/dt/hari, DR periode II = 1,367 lt/dt/hari dan untuk Tanaman Palawija DR periode I = 0,967 lt/dt/hari, DR periode II = 1,164 lt/dt/hari. Dari hasil perhitungan diperoleh tingkat efisiensi saluran sekunder Sumber Rejo sebesar 99,97%, tingkat efektifitas saluran sebesar 100%, Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah selisih besarnya volume air pada petak sawah untuk tanaman padi DR periode I dan periode II adalah 0,018 lt/dt/hari,sedangkan selisih besarnya volume pada tanaman palawija adalah 0,097 lt/dt/hari. dan tingkat efisiensi dan efektifitas saluran sekunder Sumber Rejo adalah 99,97% dan 100%. Irrigation as a means of utilizing water resources has the function of providing, regulating and channeling water to support agriculture. The Sei Ular Irrigation Area is located in the Belawan Ular Padang National Strategic River Basin, which is the Working Area Balai Wilayah Sungai Sumatera II of approximately ± 18,500 hectares consisting of 9 (nine) Free Intakes which can irrigate rice fields in Kab. Deli Serdang and Kab. Serdang Bedagai . The purpose of this study was to obtain the volume of water in the rice field plots, and the level of efficiency and effectiveness of the secondary channel of the Sumber Rejo Irrigation Area. The research method used is the Long Person III method for calculating the distribution of rainwater, the Emperis Method and the Modified Penmann Method, namely to determine the availability of water or the mainstay discharge used. From the measurement of the water discharge, the efficiency and effectiveness of the channel can be obtained. The results obtained based on the analysis obtained a large volume of water in the paddy fields for rice plants DR period I = 1.385 l / s / day, DR period II = 1.367 l / s / day and for Palawija plants DR period I = 0.967 l / s / day, DR period II = 1.164 l / sec / day. From the calculation, it was found that the efficiency of the secondary channels of Sumber Rejo 99.97%. The secondary irrigation channels of Sumber Rejo are still in good condition, this is indicated by the level of channel effectiveness of 100.00%. The conclusion of this study is the volume of water in the paddy fields for rice plants DR period I = 1.385 l / s / day, DR period II = 1.367 l / s / day and for Palawija plants DR period I = 0.967 l / s / day, DR period II = 1.164 l / sec / day. From the calculation, it was found that the efficiency of the secondary channels of Sumber Rejo 99.97%. The secondary irrigation channels of Sumber Rejo are still in good condition, this is indicated by the level of channel effectiveness of 100.00%. |
