Abstract: | Latar belakang dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya perkembangan Kognitif dan Kreativitas anak kelompok B di TK. Madani Lubuk Pakam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan prodak berupa buku panduan guru bermain Clay untuk meningkatkan perkembangan kognitif dan kreativitas anak. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian perkembangan (riserch and development). Dilaksanakan dalam empat tahap penelitian yaitu pendefenisian (Define), perencanaan (Design), pengembangan (Development), penyebaran (Dissemination). Subjek penelitian ini adalah anak Kelompok B TK. Madani Lubuk Pakam tahun ajaran 2021/2022 yang terdiri dari 8 anak dari kelompok Eksperimen dan 8 anak dari kelompok Kontrol. Instrumen pengumpulan data berupa lembar observasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa buku panduan bermain Clay hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa buku tersebut sangat valid serta sangat praktis dan efektif digunakan. Adanya peningkatan perkembangan kognitif anak pada kelompok Eksperimen anak yang ditunjukan dari hasil pretest diperoleh skor sebesar 2,63 dan postest diperoleh skor sebesar 8,88 dengan selisih skor sebesar 6,25, artinya terjadi peningkatan perkembangan kognitif sebesar 70,31 %. Peningkatan Kreativitas hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa hasil pretest diperoleh skor sebesar 2,63 dan postest diperoleh skor sebesar 10 dengan selisih sekor sebesar 7, artinya terjadi peningkatan perkembangan kreativitas sebesar 70 %. Sedangkan penggunaan metode konvensional (Kelompok Kontrol) peningkatan perkembangan kognitif dari hasil pretest diperoleh skor sebesar 3, dan postest diperoleh skor sebesar 6 dengan selisih skor sebesar 3, artinya terjadi peningkatan perkembangan kognitif sebesar 45 %. Peningkatan Kreativitas hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa hasil pretest diperoleh skor sebesar 3 dan postest diperoleh skor sebesar 5,13 dengan selisih sekor sebesar 2,13, artinya terjadi peningkatan perkembangan kreativitas sebesar 40 %. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan buku panduan guru bermain Clay lebih efektif meningkatkan perkembangan kognitif dan kreativitas anak dibandingkan dengan penggunaan model konvensional. Buku panduan ini diharapkan menjadi acuan guru dalam melaksanakan kegiatan bermain khususnya untuk anak kelompok B di TK. Madani Lubuk Pakam. The background in this study is the low cognitive and creativity development of group B children in kindergarten. Madani Lubuk Pakam. This study aims to produce a product in the form of a teacher's guide to playing Clay to improve children's cognitive development and creativity. The method used is research and development. It is carried out in four stages of research, namely definition, design, development, and dissemination. The subjects of this study were children in Group B of Kindergarten. Madani Lubuk Pakam for the 2021/2022 academic year consisting of 8 children from the Experimental group and 8 children from the Control group. The data collection instrument was in the form of an observation sheet. The results of this study indicate that the Clay play guide book results indicate that the book is very valid and very practical and effective to use. There is an increase in the cognitive development of children in the Experimental group of children as shown from the results of the pretest obtained a score of 2.63 and the post-test obtained a score of 8.88 with a difference in score of 6.25, meaning that there is an increase in cognitive development of 70.31%. Increased creativity results show that the pretest results obtained a score of 2.63 and the post-test obtained a score of 10 with a score difference of 7, meaning that there was an increase in the development of creativity by 70%. While the use of conventional methods (Control Group) to increase cognitive development from the pretest results obtained a score of 3, and posttest obtained a score of 6 with a difference in score of 3, meaning that there was an increase in cognitive development of 45%. Increased creativity results indicate that the pretest results obtained a score of 3 and the posttest obtained a score of 5.13 with a score difference of 2.13, meaning that there was an increase in the development of creativity by 40%. Thus, it can be concluded that the use of a teacher's guide to playing Clay is more effective in improving children's cognitive development and creativity compared to the use of conventional models. This manual is expected to be a reference for teachers in carrying out play activities, especially for group B children in kindergarten. Madani Lubuk Pakam. |
