Abstract: | Sekolah merupakan lembaga pendidikan yang memiliki peran besar bagi orang tua atas anak yang dititipkan untuk dididik. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pola komunikasi antarpribadi guru dan siswa dalam meningkatkan kedisiplinan siswa kelas XI MIPA di MAS Proyek Univa Medan, dan untuk mengetahui faktor pendukung dan penghambat dalam meningkatkan kedisiplinan siswa kelas XI MIPA di MAS Proyek Univa Medan. Metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Dari hasil penelitian yang dilakukan pola komunikasi yang digunakan guru dan siswa untuk meningkatkan kedisiplinan siswa kelas XI MIPA adalah pola komunikasi dua arah terutama saat memberikan instruksi guru selalu tegas. Faktor pendukung dan penghambat dalam penelitian ini yaitu adanya faktor eksternal seperti keadaan keluarga, lingkungan sekolah, maupun masyarakat sekitar seperti mendapatkan perhatian positif atau negatif dari lingkungan keluarga dan gurunya disekolah, pengaruh positif atau negatif teman sebaya satu sekolah dan faktor internal seperti keadaan fisik dan psikologis sesorang seperti siswa menjadi memiliki kesadaran diri, semangat, yakin dengan dirinya sendiri ataupun sebaliknya. Schools are educational institutions that have a big role for parents for children who are entrusted to be educated. The purpose of this study was to determine the pattern of interpersonal communication between teachers and students in improving the discipline of class XI MIPA students at the MAS Univa Medan Project, and to determine the supporting and inhibiting factors in improving the discipline of class XI MIPA students at the MAS Univa Medan Project. Qualitative descriptive research method. The data collection used in this research is observation, interviews, and documentation. From the results of research conducted, the communication pattern used by teachers and students to improve the discipline of class XI MIPA students is a two-way communication pattern, especially when giving instructions the teacher is always firm. Supporting and inhibiting factors in this study are the existence of external factors such as family circumstances, school environment, and the surrounding community such as getting positive or negative attention from the family environment and teachers at school, positive or negative influences of peers in the same school and internal factors such as physical and psychological conditions. someone like a student becomes self-aware, enthusiastic, confident in himself or vice versa. |
