Abstract: | Sumber pencemaran udara yang utama adalah berasal dari Kegiatan transportasi dan industri pabrik. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui Pengamatan Kerapatan stomata Pulutan Urena lobata L Sebagai Penduga Pencemaran Udara di Sumatera Utara. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode ex-postfacto dengan pendekatan laboratorik. Hasil percobaan yang telah dilakukan menunjukan bahwa kerapatan stomata daun pulutan pada daerah Kawasan Industri Medan memiliki nilai rata-rata berkisar 896,81/mm2, Kemudian pada daerah Percut Sei Tuan memiliki nilai rata-rata berkisar 17,27/mm2. Pengaruh polutan yang tinggi menyebabkan tumbuhan pulutan melakukan respons dengan meningkatkan jumlah kerapatan stomata. Semakin tinggi kerapatan stomata maka kualitas udara semakin tercemar, sebaliknya semakin rendah kerapatan stoamata maka kualitas udara semakin baik. The main sources of air pollution are from transportation activities and industrial factories. The purpose of this study was to Observasion Of Pulutan stomata Density (Urena lobata L) as an estimation Of air Pollution In Nort Sumatera. This study uses the ex-postfacto method with a laboratory approach. The results of experiments that have been carried out show that the stomata density of pulutan leaves in the Medan Industrial Estate area has an average value of around 896.81/mm2. then, the Percut Sei Tuan area has an average value of 17.27/mm2. The effect of high pollutant concentrations causes pulutan plants to respond by increasing the amount of stomata density. The higher the stomata density, the more polluted the air quality, conversely the lower the stomata density, the better the air quality. |
