Abstract: Produk rotan telah menambah penerimaan ekspor unggulan selain minyak dan gas bumi, serta dapat disejajarkan dengan penerimaan ekspor utama pertanian lainnya seperti kopi, karet, dan minyak sawit. Manfaat pucuk rotan atau biasa disebut dengan pakkat oleh masyarakat mandailing yang dipercaya dapat meningkatkan nafsu makan dan mempunyai khasiat sebabagai obat kencing manis dan malaria. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui berapa besar pendapatan dan mengetahui kelayakan pedagang pakkat (pucuk Rotan) yang dihasilkan oleh pedagang di Kecamatan Simangambat Kabupaten Padang Lawas Utara. Penelitian ini akan dilaksanakan di Kecamatan Simangambat pada bulan Januari sampai bulan Februari 2022 dengan jumlah sampel 21 pedagang. Hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa pendapatan pedagang pakkat di Kecamatan Simangambat sebesar Rp sebesar Rp 2.198.069/bulan dengan jumlah rata-rata penjualan pakkat sebanyak 1.143 ikat/bulan dan biaya produksi pedagang pakkat yaitu biaya tetap sebesar Rp 95.265/bulan dan biaya variabel sebesar Rp 3.420.952/bulan dengan total biaya sebesar Rp 3.516.217/bulan. Berdasarkan Analisis R/C Ratio pedagang pakkat di Kecamatan Simangambat layak di kembangkan, dilihat dari nilai R/C sebesar 1,63 yaitu jika R/C > 1 maka pedagang pakkat di Kecamatan Simangambat layak untuk dijalankan. Rattan products have increased leading export revenues apart from oil and gas, and can be aligned with other major agricultural export revenues such as coffee, rubber, and palm oil. The benefits of rattan shoots or commonly called pakkat by the Mandailing community are believed to increase appetite and have medicinal properties for diabetes and malaria. The purpose of this study was to determine how much income and to determine the feasibility of pakkat (rattan shoots) traders produced by traders in Simangambat District, North Padang Lawas Regency. This research will be carried out in Simangambat District from January to February 2022 with a sample of 21 traders. The results showed that the income of pakkat traders in Simangambat sub-district was Rp. 2,198,069/month with an average number of pakkat sales of 1,143 bundles/month and the production costs of pakkat traders were fixed costs of Rp. 95,265/month and variable costs of Rp. 3,420. .952/month with a total cost of Rp. 3,516.217/month. Based on the R/C Ratio analysis, pakkat traders in Simangambat District are feasible to develop, judging from the R/C value of 1.63, that is, if R/C > 1 then pakkat traders in Simangambat District are feasible to run.
