Konsep Diri dan Pcrilaku Altruisme pada Mahasiswa/1 AKPER Harapan Mama Deli Serdang

Abstract

Peneliti bertujuan untuk menguji apakah ada hubungan antara konsep diri dengan perilaku altruisme dan perbedaan perilaku altruisme pada mahasiswa laki-lald dan pcrempuan. Alat ukur yang digunakan dalam penclitian ini adalah skala konsep diri dan skala perilaku altruisme. Penyusunan skala pcrilaku alturismc mcnggunakan faktor-faktor yaitu, empati, sukarcla, keinginan untuk memberikan bantuan kepada orang lain, terdiri dari 25 aitem, sedangkan penyusunan skala konsep diri menggunakan dimens~ yaitu dimensi internal ( identitas diri, perilaku, dan penerimaan) dan dimensi ekstemal ( fisik, moral, personal, keluarga, dan sosial) terdiri dari 22 aitem. Subjek penclitian diperoleh dari AKPER Harapan Mama Deli Serdang. Teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu total sampling, sebanyak 30 mahasiswi dan 70 mahasisiswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan kuantitatif. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah korelasi product moment dan uji hipotesis menggunakan uji-t. Hasil analisis yang diperoleh koefisien rxy = 0,604 dengan p < 0,05. Ada hubungan yang signifikan antara konsep diri dengan perilaku altruisme mahasiswa, yang berarti hipotesis diterima. Sedangkan uji perbedaan t-test diketahui bahwa tidak ada perbedaan altruisme antara mahasiswa perempuan dengan laki-laki, yang ditunjukkan oleb koefisien t = 0,50l dengan p > 0,05. Dari hasilnya bahwa hipotesa ditolak. Nilai empirik konscp diri tergolong rendah, terlihat pada mean empirik 63, tidak berbeda dengan nilai hipotctik 55. Sedangkan perilaku alturisme mahasiswa laki-laki tergolong sedang terlihat pada mean hipotetik 62,5 dan nilai empirik 62,8. Sedangk.an peri laku alturisme mahasiswi perempuan tergolong sedang, dengan nilai hipotetik 62,5 dan nilai empirik 61,63. The analysis results obtained by the coefficient of rxy = 0.604 with p < 0.05. There is a significant relationship between self-concept and altruistic behavior students, which means the hypothesis is accepted. While the difference test t-test It is known that there is no difference in altruism between female students with men, as indicated by the coefficient t = 0.50l with p > 0.05. From the result is that the hypothesis is rejected. The empirical value of self-concept is low, seen in the empirical mean of 63, not different from the mortgage value of 55. Meanwhile Alturism behavior of male students is classified as being seen on the mean hypothetical 62.5 and empirical value 62.8. While the alturism behavior of female students women are classified as moderate, with a hypothetical value of 62.5 and an empirical value of 61.63
