Abstract: | Penelitian ini dilakukan di Perguruan Sultan Iskandar Muda yang terletak di Jl. Tengku Amir Hamzah Pekan I Sunggal, Medan. Di perguruan ini terdapat suatu program yang disebut program pembauran yang bermanfaat sebagai sarana untuk fuenjembatani segala perbedaan yang terdapat dalam siswa-siswi perguruan Sultan Iskandar Muda. Program pembauran ini dilakukan mengingat masyarakat Indonesia yang multikultur (plural culture) secara demografis maupun sosiologis potensial bagi terjadinya konflik, karena masyarakat terbagi ke dalam kelompokkelompok berdasarkan identitas kultural mereka. Oleh karena itu dirasa sangat penting untuk menanamkan nilai-nilai sosial sejak dini bagi setiap individu dalam masyarakat. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui bagaimana interaksi sosial antar siswa yang berbeda budaya dan melihat bagaimana upaya yang dikerjakan oleh pihak perguruan Sultan lskandar Muda dalam mengemas segala perbedaan yang ada sehingga tidak menimbulkan konflik antar budaya maupun antar agama. Penelitian ini juga ingin melihat seberapa besar pengaruh program pembauran dalam pengembangan kerukunan hidup antar umat beragama bagi siswa-siswi. Hasil dari penelitian ini akan disarankan pada Dinas Pendidikan kota Medan, sehingga menjadi salah satu acuan dalam pengembangan kurikulum. Sesuai dengan tujuan penelitian, maka yang menjadi sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah, guru BP, dan siswa. Teknik pengambilan datanya dengan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan untuk teknik analisis datanya digunakan metode triangulasi sumber dengan sumber datanya kepala sekolah, guru BP dan siswa. Dari hasil penelitian ini dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa program pembauran merupakan salah satu upaya yang strategis untuk mengemas segala perbedaan yang ada dalam diri siswa-siswi perguruan Sultan lskandar Muda. Dalam pelaksanaan program tersebut ada banyak upaya yang dilakukan sehingga program tersebut bisa berjalan, antara lain melalui penentuan posisi duduk, penentuan komposisi kelas, kegiatan olah raga beregu dan kegiatan orang tua asuh. Dalam pelaksanaannya program ini juga mengalami kendala-kendala yang datang dari dalam diri siswa itu sendiri maupun dari keluarga siswa tersebut. Sekalipun terdapat kendala-kendala yang dihadapi, akan tetapi sejauh ini program pembauran masih tetap berjalan dengan baik dan senantiasa terus diupayakan agar bermanfaat bagi bangsa dan negara dalam membantu menciptakan kerukunan hidup antar umat yang berbeda budaya maupun agama. This research was conducted at the Sultan Iskandar Muda College located on Jl. Tengku Amir Hamzah Week I Sunggal, Medan. In this college there are a program called an assimilation program that serves as a tool to bridge all the differences that exist in college students Sultan Iskandar Muda. This assimilation program was carried out keeping in mind the community Indonesia is a multicultural (plural culture) demographically and sociologically potential for conflict, because society is divided into groups based on their cultural identity. Therefore it is felt very it is important to instill social values from an early age for every individual in public. This research was conducted to find out how social interaction is between students of different cultures and see how the efforts are carried out by the college of Sultan Iskandar Muda in packing all the differences existing so as not to cause conflict between cultures and between religions. This study also wants to see how much influence the integration program has in the development of inter-religious harmony for students. The results of this study will be suggested to the Medan City Education Office, so that it becomes one of the references in curriculum development. In accordance with the research objectives, then the source of data in in this study were the principal, vice principal, BP teacher, and students. Data collection techniques with interviews, observation, and documentation. As for the data analysis technique, the source triangulation method is used with the data sources of school principals, BP teachers and students. From the results of this study it can be concluded that the program Assimilation is a strategic effort to package everything the differences that exist in the students of the Sultan Iskandar Muda college. During the implementation of the program, many efforts have been made the program can run, among others by determining the sitting position, determining class composition, team sports activities and parental activities foster. In the implementation of this program also experienced several obstacles come from within the student himself or from the student's family. Even though there are obstacles encountered, so far the program has been successful Assimilation is still going well and efforts are always being made useful for the nation and state in helping to create harmony live among people of different cultures and religions. |
