Abstract: | Penelitian tentang pengaruh lama perendaman benih dengan bakteri bacillus sp. dan pemberian pupuk NPK terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman kacang tanah (Arachis hypogaea L.) dilaksanakan mulai tanggal 07 bulan Oktober tahun 2022 sampai tanggal 07 bulan Januari 2023 di Kebun Percobaan Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Medan Area yang berlokasi di Jalan Kolam No. 1 Medan Estate, Kecamatan Percut Sei Tuan dengan ketinggian tempat ± 22 mdpl, topografi miring dan dengan jenis tanah alluvial. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh lama perendaman benih dengan bakteri Bacillus sp. dan pemberian pupuk NPK terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman kacang tanah (Arachis hypogaea L.).Metode rancangan penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK Faktorial) yang terdiri dari 2 faktor. Faktor pertama penggunaan Bacillus sp. (B) dengan 3 taraf yaitu: B0 = Tanpa Menggunakan Bacillus sp., B1 = Waktu Perendaman 15 Menit, B2 = Waktu Perendaman 30 Menit. Faktor kedua Pemberian NPK (N) dengan 3 taraf yaitu: N0 = Tanpa Pemberian Pupuk NPK Mutiara, N1 = Pemberian Pupuk NPK Mutiara 3 ton/ha (0,8 kg/Plot), N2 = Pemberian Pupuk NPK Mutiara 6 ton/ha (1,8 kg/Plot). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perendaman benih kacang tanah dengan menggunakan Bacillus sp. menunjukkan berpengaruh nyata terhadap produksi kacang tanah seperti berat basah per sampel, berat basah per plot, berat kering per sampel, berat kering per plot pada perlakuan B0 dengan nilai berat basah per sampel = 64,97 gr, nilai berat basah per plot = 1446,11 gr, nilai berat kering per sampel = 44,92 gr, dan nilai berat kering per plot = 723,67 gr, namun tidak menunjukkan pengaruh yang nyata terhadap pertumbuhan vegetatif tanaman seperti tinggi tanaman dan jumlah cabang akan tetapi. Pengaplikasian NPK tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap pertumbuhan vegetatif dan produksi tanaman kacang tanah namun perlakuan dengan nilai tertinggi pada perlakuan N0 (Tanpa Pemberian Pupuk NPK). Dan kombinasi perendaman benih dengan Bacillus sp. dan pemberian pupuk NPK tidak menunjukkan pengaruh nyata terhadap pertumbuhan vegetatif dan produksi tanaman kacang tanah. Research on the effect of the length of soaking seeds with Bacillus sp. bacteria and the provision of NPK fertilizer on the growth and yield of peanut plants (Arachis hypogaea L.) was carried out from 07 October 2022 to 07 January 2023 at the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Medan Area University located at Jalan Kolam No. 1 Medan Estate, Percut Sei Tuan District with an altitude of ± 22 meters above sea level, sloping topography and with alluvial soil type. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the length of seed soaking with Bacillus sp. bacteria and the application of NPK fertilizer on the growth and yield of peanut plants (Arachis hypogaea L.). This research design method was carried out using the Randomized Group Design (RAK Factorial) method consisting of 2 factors. The first factor is the use of Bacillus sp. (B) with 3 levels, namely: B0 = Without Using Bacillus sp., B1 = Soaking Time 15 Minutes, B2 = Soaking Time 30 Minutes. The second factor is NPK Fertilization (N) with 3 levels, namely: N0 = No Pearl NPK Fertilizer, N1 = Pearl NPK Fertilizer 3 tons/ha (0.8 kg/Plot), N2 = Pearl NPK Fertilizer 6 tons/ha (1.8 kg/Plot). The results showed that soaking peanut seeds using Bacillus sp. showed a significant effect on peanut production such as wet weight per sample, wet weight per plot, dry weight per sample, dry weight per plot in the B0 treatment with a wet weight value per sample = 64.97 g, wet weight value per plot = 1446.11 g, dry weight value per sample = 44.92 g, and dry weight value per plot = 723.67 g, but did not show a significant effect on plant vegetative growth such as plant height and number of branches however. The application of NPK does not significantly affect the vegetative growth and production of peanut plants but the treatment with the highest value in the N0 treatment (No NPK Fertilizer). And the combination of seed soaking with Bacillus sp. and NPK fertilizer application did not show a significant effect on vegetative growth and production of peanut plants. |
