Pengaruh Pola Asuh Demokratis Terhadap Penyesuaian Diri pada Siswa di Lingkungan SMA Negeri 6 Medan

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pola asuh demokratis terhadap penyesuaian diri pada siswa lingkungan SMA Negeri 6 Medan. Metode penelitian yang di pakai adalah pendekatan kuantitatif, sedangkan teknik sampling yang digunakan purposive sampling, untuk sampel yang di gunakan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 86 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang di gunakan dalam penelitian ini skala likert dengan cara memberi pertanyaan kuesioner kepada responden. Dalam penelitian ini skala yang digunakan adalah skala pola asuh demokratis dan skala penyesuaian diri. Hasil perhitungan nilai rata-rata variabel pola asuh demokratis terhadap penyesuaian diri yaitu memiliki nilai dengan pola asuh demokratis hipotetik 125 dan empirik 140,87 sedangkan untuk variabel penyesuaian diri dengan hipotetik 67,5 dan empirik 80,51, sesuai dengan perhitungan hipotetik dalam penelitian pola asuh demokratis menggunakan skala yang berjumlah 60 butir dan diformat menggunakan skala likert dengan 4 pilihan jawaban,maka mean hipotetik adalah 60 - 1 0 = 5 0 x 4 + 5 0 x 1 / 2 = 1 2 5 sedangkan untuk variabel penyesuaian diri menggunakan skala yang berjumlah 36 butir dan diformat menggunakan skala likert dengan 4 pilihan jawaban,maka mean hipotetik adalah 36-9=27x4+27x1/2=67,5. Analisis hipotesis dalam variabel pola asuh demokratis terhadap penyesuaian diri berjumlah 13,572sedangkan berdasarkan hasil analisis variabel pola asuh terhadap penyesuaian diri berjumlah 9,004 dengan bobot sumbangan terhadap ariabel X dan Y berjumlah 64,2%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa hipotesis yang diajukan berbunyi adanya pengaruh pola asuh demokratis terhadap penyesuaian diri. The results of the calculation of the average value of the democratic parenting variable on self-adjustment are hypothetical democratic parenting values of 125 and empirical 140,87 while for the hypothetical adjustment variables of 67,5 and empirical 80,51, according to hypothetical calculations in democratic parenting research using a scale totaling 60 items and formatted using a Likert scale with 4 answer choices, the hypothetical mean is 60 - 10 = 50 x 4+ 50 x 1 / 2= 125 while for the self-adjustment variable using a scale totaling 36 items and formatted using a Likert scale with 4 answer choices, the hypothetical mean is 36- 9=27x4+27x1/2=67,5. Hypothesis analysis in the variable of democratic parenting towards self-adjustment amounted to 13,572while based on the results of the analysis of the variable of parenting towards self-adjustment amounted to 9,004 with the weight of the contribution to the X and Y variables amounting to 64,2% Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the hypothesis proposed reads that there is an influence of democratic parenting on self-adjustment.
