Abstract: | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana gambaran quarter life crisis pada mahasiswa fakultas psikologi di universitas medan area. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif. Sampel yang diambil untuk penelitian ini adalah 55 orang dari jumlah populasi 199 orang. Skala Quarter Life Crisis disusun berdasarkan aspek menurut Robbins & Wilner (2001): (1) bimbang dalam mengambil keputusan, (2) perasaan putus asa, (3) menilai diri secara negatif, (4) merasa terjebak dalam situasi sulit, (5) perasaan cemas, (6) tertekan, dan (7) memiliki kekhawatiran terhadap hubungan interpersonal. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan analisis deskriptif serta manual dalam menentukan tingkat persentase setiap aspek, maka terdapat nilai persentase yang paling tinggi pada aspek terjebak dalam situasi yang sulit sebesar 22% dan aspek dengan persentase terkecil terdapat pada perasaan cemas dengan total 7%. Dari sebaran jenis kelamin bahwa terdapat Perempuan yang mendominasi pada penelitian ini sebanyak 44 orang dan Laki –Laki berjumlah 11 orang. Selain itu berdasarkan dari sebaran usia bahwa terdapat responden yang berumur 22 tahun mendominasi dengan total 29 orang disusul dengan responden berumur 21 tahun sebanyak 16 orang. Selain itu responden berusia 23 tahun berjumlah 6 orang, responden berusia 25 tahun berjumlah 2 orang serta responden berusia 19 dan 20 tahun masing – masing berjumlah 1 orang. Gambaran Quarter Life Crisis pada mahasiswa fakultas psikologi di Universitas Medan Area secara keseluruhan termasuk dalam kategori cukup dan tinggi dengan total persentase 64% This study aims to find out how the quarter life crisis is described in psychology faculty students at Medan Area University. The type of research used in this study is a descriptive quantitative approach. The samples taken for this study were 55 people from a total population of 199 people. The Quarter Life Crisis scale is arranged based on aspects according to Robbins & Wilner (2001): (1) indecision in making decisions, (2) feelings of hopelessness, (3) negative self-assessment, (4) feeling trapped in a difficult situation, (5) feeling anxious, (6) depressed, and (7) having concerns about interpersonal relationships. Based on the results of descriptive and manual analysis calculations in determining the percentage level of each aspect, there is the highest percentage value for the aspect of being trapped in a difficult situation of 22% and the aspect with the smallest percentage is anxiety with a total of 7%. From the distribution of gender, there were 44 women who dominated in this study and 11 men. In addition, based on the age distribution, there were 22 year old respondents who dominated with a total of 29 people, followed by 21 year old respondents with 16 people. In addition, there were 6 respondents aged 23 years, 2 respondents aged 25 years and 1 respondent aged 19 and 20 years respectively. The Quarter Life Crisis overview of psychology faculty students at Medan Area University as a whole is included in the moderate and high categories with a total percentage of 64%. |
