Abstract: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan lingkungan sekolah dengan motivasi belajar pada siswa SMA Negeri 2 Takengon .Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif korelasional. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa siswi kelas X dan XI SMA Negeri 2 Takengon yang berjumlah 150 siswa siswi, dan sampel yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yang berjumlah 150 siswa siswi. Teknik pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini menggunakan Teknik Total Sampling. Alat ukur yang digunakan skala lingkungan sekolah yang aspek-aspeknya adalah kelompok antar siswa,hubungan didalam kelas,kegiatan ekstra kulikuler dan kepatuhan terhadap peraturan sekolah.Dan skala motivasi belajar aspek-aspeknya adalah hasrat dan minat,dorongan dan kebutuhan,harapan dan cita-cita,lingkungan yang baik dan kegiatan yang menarik. Teknik analisis data menggunakan korelasi Product Moment . Hasil penelitian ini menujukan koefisien korelasi rxy sebesar 0,587 dan p = 0,000 (p < 0,05 yang menunjukan semakin rendah lingkungan sekolah,maka semakin tinggi motivasi belajar atau sebaliknya. Dari analisis data penelitian ini diketahui bahwa lingkungan sekolah dan motivasi belajar hal ini terlihat dari standar devisiasi 9,089 dan nilai mean empiric 53,27 dan mean hipotetiknya 65. Selain itu nilai standar deviasi motivasi belajar sebesar 9.116 nilai empiric 51,73 dan mean hipotetiknya =62,5 adapun koefisien determinannya ditemukan r2 =0,286 yang berarti motivasi belajar rendah dimana lingkungan sekolah berkontribusi sebesar 34,5% terhadap motivasi belajarHal ini berarti masih terdapat 63,1% ditentukan variabel lain yang tiak diteliti. The purpose of this research is to determine the relationship between the school environment and learning motivation in students at SMA Negeri 2 Takengon. The research method used in this research is a correlational quantitative method. The population of this research is all students in class X and XI at SMA Negeri 2 Takengon, totaling 150 students. and the sample used in this research was 150 female students. The sampling technique in this research used the Total Sampling Technique. The measuring tool used was the scale of the school environment whose aspects were groups between students, relationships within the class, extra-curricular activities and compliance with school regulations. And the aspects of the learning motivation scale are desire and interest, drive and need, hopes and ideals for a good environment and interesting activities. Data analysis technique uses Product Moment correlation. The results of this study show a correlation coefficient of 1, equal to 0.587 and p 0.000 (p < 0.05 which shows that the lower the school environment, the higher the motivation to learn or vice versa. From the analysis of this research data it is known that the school environment and motivation to learn can be seen from the standard deviation of 9.089 and the empirical mean value of 53.27 and the mean The hypothetical value is 65. Apart from that, the standard deviation value for learning motivation is 9,116, the empirical value is 51.73 and the hypothetical mean = 62.5. The determinant coefficient is found to be r2 = 0.286, which means low learning motivation where the school environment contributes 34.5% to learning motivation. This means that There are still 63.1% determined by other variables that were not studied.
