In everyday life, people are accustomed to using mineral water to fill radiators, this can cause corrosion in the cooling system, thereby disrupting engine performance. To avoid corrosion in the cooling system, it is best to use a coolant radiator so that the temperature and components of the cooling system remain in good condition. The aim of this research is to determine the rate of fluid heat transfer, the influence of flow rate on effectiveness, and variations in coolant types. The research method used is an experimental method which is included in the quantitative method. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistics. The samples in this study used various types of coolant with various types of engine speed at 1000, 1500, 2000 rpm. Based on the calculations obtained, the average heat transfer value for Coolant A (3780.34W), Coolant C (2374.98W), mineral water (2012.90W), Coolant B (1621.92W), and Coolant D (1513.82W). This research was carried out when the engine operating temperature conditions were optimal or when the thermostat was open. These results and conclusions are that the greater the heat transfer value, the better the engine performance temperature.
