Abstract: | Dalam pembuatan campuran Asphalt Concrete (AC) untuk lapis permukaan pada perkerasan lentur membutuhkan agregat dalam jumlah banyak. Penggunaan fresh aggregate yang terus menerus dalam jumlah yang besar akan menimbulkan masalah lingkungan di sekitar daerah penambangan tersebut. Pada penelitian ini untuk mengurangi penggunaan agegat baru (fresh aggregate) dicoba dengan pemanfaatan limbah beton untuk mengganti sebagian agregat kasar pada pembuatan campuran AC-BC (Asphalt Concrete- Binder Course). Selain itu pemanfaatan limbah beton yang berasal dari reruntuhan bangunan akibat gempa bumi, bongkaran bangunan, akibat kebakaran maupun limbah beton yang berasal dari kegagalan dalam pembuatan di pabrik beton pracetak, yang dalam jumlah banyak akan menimbulkan masalah negatif bagi lingkungan diharapkan dapat diatasi. Penelitian dimulai dengan pengujian bahan-bahan penyusun beton aspal (aspal, agregat kasar dan agregat halus) dan pengujian limbah beton sebagai pengganti sebagian agregat kasar , serta perancangan campuran beton aspal. Ketentuan aspal, agregat kasar dan agregat halus yang digunakan mengacu Spesifikasi Teknik Bina Marga tahun 2010. Jenis beton aspal yang akan digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah Asphalt Concrete Binder Course (AC-BC) untuk Lapis Pengikat, sesuai dengan Spesifikasi Teknik Bina Marga tahun 2010. Selanjutnya menentukan rumus rancangan campuran beton aspal AC-BC berdasarkan nilai kadar aspal optimum. Karakteristik campuran beton aspal dan gradasi campuran agregat harus memenuhi Spesifikasi Teknik Bina Marga 2010. Kemudian dilakukan pengujian Marshall untuk mengetahui kinerja Lapis Pengikat pada Flexible Pavement, yaitu campuran AC-BC yang menggunakan limbah beton, pada berbagai variasi prosentase limbah beton sebagai pengganti sebagian agregat kasar, yaitu : 0%, 20%, 30%, 40% terhadap total agregat kasar. Kinerja yang diukur adalah karakteristik Marshall, yaitu stabilitas, flow, Marshall Quotient, VMA, VFWA dan VIM pada masing-masing variasi prosentase limbah beton sebagai pengganti sebagian agregat kasar. Making Asphalt Concrete (AC) mixtures for the surface layer on flexible pavement requires large quantities of aggregate. Continuous use of fresh aggregate in large quantities will cause environmental problems around the mining area. In this research, to reduce the use of fresh aggregate, we tried using concrete waste to replace some of the coarse aggregate in making the AC-BC (Asphalt Concrete-Binder Course) mixture. Apart from that, it is hoped that the utilization of concrete waste originating from building ruins caused by earthquakes, building demolition, fires and concrete waste originating from failures in manufacturing in precast concrete factories, which in large quantities will cause negative problems for the environment. The research began with testing the ingredients that make up asphalt concrete (asphalt, coarse aggregate and fine aggregate) and testing concrete waste as a partial replacement for coarse. The provisions for asphalt, coarse aggregate and fine aggregate used refer to the 2010 Bina Marga Technical Specifications. The type of asphalt concrete that will be used in this research is Asphalt Concrete Binder Course (AC-BC) for Binder Layer, in accordance with the 2010 Bina Marga Technical Specifications. Next, determine the AC-BC asphalt concrete mix design formula based on the optimum asphalt content value. The characteristics of the asphalt concrete mixture and the gradation of the aggregate mixture must meet the 2010 Bina Marga Technical Specifications. Then a Marshall test is carried out to determine the performance of the Binder Layer on Flexible Pavement, namely the AC-BC mixture which uses concrete waste, at various percentages of concrete waste as a partial replacement for coarse aggregate. , namely: 0%, 20%, 30%, 40% of the total coarse aggregate. The performance measured is the Marshall characteristic, namely stability, flow, Marshall Quotient, VMA, VFWA and VIM for each variation in the percentage of concrete waste as a partial replacement for coarse aggregate. |
