Abstract: | Pembinaan bagi narapidana sangat penting dalam upaya mengembalikan mereka ke masyarakat. Baik materi maupun spiritual harus seimbang, ini adalah faktor utama yang membuat hidup nyaman narapidana setelah keluar dari penjara. Pertanyaan dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana penyelenggaraan pendidikan narapidana di Lapas Kelas II A Kota Binjai, apa saja kendala pendidikan narapidana di Kota Binjai, dan apa upaya yang dilakukan oleh Lapas Kelas II A Kota Binjai untuk mengatasi hambatan pendidikan narapidana. . Pembinaan terhadap narapidana di Lembaga Pemasyarakatan Kelas II A Kota Binjai bertujuan untuk membantu narapidana dalam mengembangkan kepribadian dan kemandiriannya. Perkembangan kepribadian yaitu perkembangan kesadaran beragama, kesadaran berbangsa dan bernegara, kemampuan intelektual, kesadaran hukum, dan perkembangan fisik. Salah satu strategi pembinaan kemandirian adalah pembinaan keterampilan dan pembinaan kerja yang ditawarkan oleh Lapas Kelas II A Kota Binjai kepada warga binaan Lapas (Pemasyarakatan). Permasalahan yang muncul di Lapas Kelas II A Kota Binjai: Jumlah narapidana yang lebih besar dari daya tampung. Sarana dan prasarana yang mendukung proses pembinaan narapidana masih sangat sedikit. Lapas yang tidak seimbang dengan jumlah narapidana atau kapasitas narapidana. ketidakmampuan narapidana untuk mengikuti proses pembinaan di Lapas karena kurangnya kesadaran diri. upaya mengatasi hambatan dalam pembinaan narapidana di Lembaga Pemasyarakatan Kelas II A Kota Binjai. Guidance for prisoners is very important in an effort to return them to society. Both material and spiritual must be balanced, this is the main factor that makes the prisoner's life comfortable after leaving prison. The questions in this study are how the organization of inmate education in Class II A Correctional Institution of Binjai City, what are the obstacles to inmate education in Binjai City, and what efforts are made by Class II A Correctional Institution of Binjai City to overcome obstacles to inmate education. Coaching of prisoners at Class II A Correctional Institution Binjai City aims to assist prisoners in developing their personality and independence. Personality development is the development of religious awareness, awareness of nation and state, intellectual ability, legal awareness, and physical development. One of the strategies for fostering independence is skills development and work coaching offered by Class II A Correctional Institution of Binjai City to prisoners. Problems that arise in Class II A Correctional Institution of Binjai City: The number of prisoners is greater than the capacity. Facilities and infrastructure that support the prisoner's coaching process are still very few. Prisons that are not balanced with the number of prisoners or the capacity of prisoners. the inability of prisoners to follow the coaching process in prisons due to lack of self- awareness. efforts to overcome obstacles in the coaching of prisoners at the Class II A Correctional Institution in Binjai City. |
