Komunikasi Publik Polsek Percut Sei Tuan Dalam Menciptakan Citra Positif Kepolisian

Abstract

Feedback komunikasi publik dalam bentuk kognitif, afektif, dan behavioral komunikasi dalam pesan yang di sampaikan untuk membangkitkan motivasi dan gairah komunikan sehingga komunikan cepat diterima dan terjadi perubahan sikap perilaku. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini adalah: Untuk menganalisis Komunikasi Publik Polsek Sei Tuan Dalam Menciptakan Citra Positif Kepolisian. Untuk menganalisis upaya dan hambatan Komunikasi Publik Polsek Sei Tuan Dalam Menciptakan Citra Positif Kepolisian. Penelitian deskriptif kualitatif adalah pendekatan melalui analisis data yang bersifat induktif maupun deduktif dan pembentukan berbagai pola atau tema serta mendeskripsikan dan interpretasi tentang masalah penelitian dan kontribusinya pada literature atau seruan bagi perubahan. Hasil penelitian menujukkan bahwa komunikasi publik oleh Polsek Sei Tuan Medan pada masyarakat sudah optimal berjalan dengan baik komunikasi publik sudah optimal tapi pastrisipasi masyarakat minim, berarti pendekatan itu tidak berhasil, hal ini dapat dilihat berbagai pendekatan-pendekatan yang dilakukan pihak Polsek Percut Sei Tuan seperti adanya program Jumat Curhat dengan kegiatan ini pihak Polsek Percut Sei Tuan Medan melakukan berbagai sosialisasi pada warga baik itu tentang pertauran-peraturan tentang kriminalitas oleh pihak Polsek Percut Sei Tuan Medan. Hambatan dalam melakukan Komunikasi Publik Polsek Sei Tuan Dalam Menciptakan Citra Positif Kepolisian adalah, kurangnya partisipasi masyarakat dalam mendukung program Jumat Curhat yang dilakukan oleh Polsek Percut Sei Tuan Medan. Kurangnya efektifnya pengaduan melalui media sosial, terbatasnya kesatuan personil dalam melakukan patroli dilingkungan wilayah hukum Polsek Sei Tuan. Community communication feedback is in the form of cognitive, affective and behavioral communication in the messages conveyed to arouse the motivation and passion of the communicant so that the communicant is quickly accepted and changes in attitude occur. The aim of this research is: To analyze the Sei Tuan Police Public Communication in Creating a Positive Image of the Police. To overcome Sei Tuan Police Public Communication efforts and obstacles in creating a positive image of the police. Qualitative descriptive research is an approach through inductive or deductive data analysis and the formation of various patterns or themes as well as descriptions and interpretations of research problems and their contribution to literature or calls for change. The results of the research show that public communication by the Sei Tuan Medan Police to the community is optimal and runs well. Public communication is optimal but community participation is minimal, meaning the approach is not successful. This can be seen from the various approaches taken by the Percut Sei Tuan Police, as is Friday Confidential program with this activity, the Percut Sei Tuan Medan Police carried out various outreach activities to residents, both regarding regulations regarding crime and the Percut Sei Tuan Medan Police. The obstacle in carrying out Sei Tuan Police Public Communication in Creating a Positive Image of the Police is ensuring community participation in supporting the Friday Confide program carried out by the Percut Sei Tuan Medan Police. The lack of effectiveness of complaints via social media, limited personnel units in carrying out patrols within the jurisdiction of the Sei Tuan Police.
