Respon Pertumbuhan dan Produksi Berbagai Varietas Tanaman Jagung terhadap Pengaplikasian Pupuk Organik Cair Limbah Ikan

Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul “Respon Pertumbuhan dan Produksi Berbagai Varietas Tanaman Jagung terhadap Pengaplikasian Pupuk Organik Cair Limbah Ikan”. Dibimbing oleh Ibu Ir. Asmah Indrawati, MP. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Desa Medang, Kecamatan Medang Deras, Kabupaten Batu Bara dengan ketinggian tempat 12 mdpl dengan topografi datar dan jenis tanah aluvial. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui respon pertumbuhan dan produksi berbagai varietas tanaman jagung terhadap pengaplikasian pupuk organik cair limbah ikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) Faktorial 2 faktor. Faktor pertama ialah 3 jenis varietas : V1 : Varietas Bonanza F1, V2 : Varietas Jantan F1, V3 : Varietas Jutawan F1. Faktor kedua ialah dosis pupuk organik cair limbah ikan yang terdiri dari 5 taraf : I0 : anorganik , I1 : 20 ml / 1 liter air / plot, I2 : 40 ml / liter air / plot, I3 : 60 ml / 1 liter air / plot, I4 : 80 ml / 1 liter air / plot . Parameter yang diamati adalah tinggi tanaman, diameter batang, jumlah daun, umur berbunga, panjang tongkol tanpa kelobot, diameter tongkol tanpa kelobot, produksi tanaman / sampel berkelobot dan produksi tanaman / plot berkelobot. Hasil penelitian penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada pengaruh nyata pengaplikasian POC limbah ikan pada seluruh parameter yang diukur terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi berbagai varietas tanaman jagung. Ada pengaruh nyata perlakuan varietas terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman jagung yaitu parameter panjang tongkol tanpa kelobot, produksi tanaman per sampel berkelobot dan produksi tanaman per plot berkelobot. Tidak ada interaksi nyata pada pemberian POC limbah ikan dan varietas terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi berbagai varietas tanaman jagung. This research is entitled "Response of Growth and Production of Various Corn Plant Varieties to the Application of Fish Waste Liquid Organic Fertilizer". Supervised by Mrs. Ir. Asmah Indrawati, MP. This research was carried out in Medang Village, Medang Deras District, Batu Bara Regency at an altitude of 12 meters above sea level with flat topography and alluvial soil type. This research aims to determine the response of growth and production of various varieties of corn to the application of fish waste liquid organic fertilizer. This research used a 2 factorial Randomized Group Design (RAK). The first factor is 3 types of varieties: V1: Bonanza F1 variety, V2: F1 male variety, V3: F1 millionaire variety. The second factor is the dosage of fish waste liquid organic fertilizer which consists of 5 levels: I0: inorganic, I1: 20 ml / 1 liter of water / plot, I2: 40 ml / liter of water / plot, I3: 60 ml / 1 liter of water / plot , I4 : 80 ml / 1 liter of water / plot . The parameters observed were plant height, stem diameter, number of leaves, flowering age, ear length without husks, ear diameter without husks, production of plants/samples with husks and production of plants/plots with husks. The results of the research showed that there was no real effect of applying fish waste POC on all parameters measured on the growth and production of various varieties of corn plants. There is a real influence of variety treatment on the growth and production of corn plants, namely the parameters of cob length without husks, plant production per sample with husks and plant production per plot with husks. There was no real interaction between giving POC fish waste and varieties on the growth and production of various varieties of corn plants.
