Abstract: | Ketel uap memiliki komponen seperti pipa penguapan, pemanas lanjut, pemanas air, dan pemanas udara. Uap panas dari ketel digunakan sebagai sumber energi penting dalam berbagai industri. Proses pembuatan ketel induksi melibatkan desain alat dengan tekanan tertentu, pemilihan mesin perkakas, dan penentuan proses yang paling tepat untuk mencapai tekanan yang diinginkan. Data yang akan dikumpulkan dalam penelitian ini melibatkan studi literatur dan lembar-lembar pengamatan berdasarkan standar dari American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME). ASME mendefinisikan unit pembangkit uap sebagai kombinasi peralatan untuk memproduksi, melengkapi, atau meregenerasi panas bersama dengan peralatan penghasil uap dari fluida panas. penelitian ini menciptakan kerangka kerja yang sistematis dan menyeluruh untuk mengatasi masalah yang dihadapi. Melalui pendekatan terapan dan langkah-langkah metodologis yang jelas, diharapkan penelitian ini dapat memberikan solusi yang bermanfaat dan berkontribusi terhadap manufaktur ketel induksi dengan tekanan 200 kPa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa proses pembuatan ketel induksi dengan tekanan 200 kPa melibatkan langkah-langkah seperti pembuatan tabung ketel, pipa penghubung, takaran air, dan penyambungan komponen seperti blowdown valve, manometer, serta safety valve pada tabung ketel. Hasil pengoperasian menunjukkan bahwa pengoperasian pada 150 V x 30 A mampu menghasilkan uap dengan tekanan 200 kPa dalam jangka waktu tertentu. Maka dari itu, proses pembuatan ketel induksi dengan tekanan 200 kPa berhasil dilaksanakan dengan memperhatikan berbagai aspek teknis dan operasional. A steam boiler consists of components such as evaporator pipes, superheaters, economizers, and air heaters. The steam produced by the boiler serves as a vital energy source in various industries. The process of manufacturing an induction boiler involves designing a tool with a specific pressure, selecting machine tools, and determining the most appropriate process to achieve the desired pressure. The data collected in this research includes literature studies and observation sheets based on the standards of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME). ASME defines a steam-generating unit as a combination of equipment to produce, complete, or regenerate heat along with equipment that generates steam from hot fluids. This research establishes a systematic and comprehensive framework to address the encountered problems. Through applied approaches and clear methodological steps, it is expected that this research can provide valuable solutions and contribute to the manufacturing of an induction boiler with a pressure of 200 kPa. The research findings indicate that the process of manufacturing an induction boiler with a pressure of 200 kPa involves steps such as making the boiler tube, connecting pipes, measuring water levels, and assembling components such as the blowdown valve, manometer, and safety valve on the boiler tube. The operating results show that operating at 150 V x 30 A can produce steam with a pressure of 200 kPa within a specific time frame. Therefore, the manufacturing process of the induction boiler with a pressure of 200 kPa was successfully implemented by considering various technical and operational aspects. |
