Abstract: Iklim mikro diperlukan pada proses budidaya tanaman sebagai penyumbang unsur hara. Penggunaan mulsa organik pada proses budidaya tanaman dapat melibatkan iklim mikro. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian berbagai mulsa organik terhadap pertumbuhan vegetatif tanaman terung ungu: 1. Mengetahui dosis optimum pemberian pupuk kompos solid terhadap pertumbuhan vegetatif tanaman terung ungu, 2. Mengetahui kombinasi terbaik pemberian berbagai mulsa organik dan pupuk kompos solid terhadap pertumbuhan vegetatif tanaman terung ungu, 3. Mengetahui kombinasi terbaik pemberian berbagai mulsa organik dan pupuk kompos solid terhadap pertumbuhan vegetatif tanaman terung ungu. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) yang terdiri dari dua perlakuan dan masing-masing perlakuan terdiri dari empat taraf. Perlakuan Mulsa Organik (M): M0= Tanpa perlakuan (Kontrol); M1= Jerami padi (2kg/plot); M2= Ampas tebu (2kg/plot); M3= Batang pisang (2kg/plot). Perlakuan Pupuk Kompos Solid (P): P0= Tanpa perlakuan (Kontrol); P1= 10ton/Ha; P2= 15ton/Ha; P3= 20ton/Ha. Parameter pengamatan terdiri dari: Tinggi Tanaman (cm), Jumlah Cabang, Umur Berbunga (hari), Suhu Tanah (0C). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Pemberian berbagai mulsa organik hanya berpengaruh nyata pada terhadap jumlah cabang tanaman terung ungu pada umur 4 MST dan 5 MST, Pemberian Pupuk Kompos Solid tidak memberikan pengaruh pada pertumbuhan vegetatif tanaman terung ungu tetapi memberikan pengaruh nyata terhadap jumlah cabang tanaman terung ungu pada umur 4 MST dan 5 MST dan Perlakuan kombinasi pemberian berbagai mulsa organik dan pupuk kompos solid menghasilkan pengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman (cm), jumlah cabang dan umur berbunga (hari). Microclimate is needed in the plant cultivation process as a contributor of nutrients. The use of organic mulch in the plant cultivation process can involve a microclimate. The aim of this research was to determine the effect of providing various organic mulches on the vegetative growth of purple eggplant plants: 1. To determine the optimum dose of solid compost fertilizer for vegetative growth of purple eggplant plants, 2. To find out the best combination of providing various organic mulches and solid compost fertilizer for the vegetative growth of purple eggplant plants, 3. To find out the best combination of providing various organic mulches and solid compost fertilizer for the vegetative growth of purple eggplant plants. This research used the Randomized Group Design (RAK) method which consisted of two treatments and each treatment consisted of four levels. Organic Mulch Treatment:(M):M0= Without treatment (Control), M1= rice straw (2kg/plot), M2= sugarcane bagasse (2kg/plot), M3= banana stem (2kg/plot). Solid compost fertilizer treatment (P): P0= without treatment (control), P1= 10ton/ha, P2= 15ton/ha, P3= 20ton/ha. Observation parameters consist of: Plant Height (cm), Number of Branches, Flowering Age (days), Soil Temperature (0C). The results of this research show that the provision of various organic mulches only had a significant effect on the number of branches of purple eggplant plants at the age of 4 WAP and 5 WAP. The application of Solid Compost Fertilizer had no effect on the vegetative growth of purple eggplant plants but had a real effect on the number of branches of purple eggplant plants. at the age of 4 WAP and 5 WAP and the combination treatment of various organic mulches and solid compost produced a significant effect on plant height (cm), number of branches and flowering age (days).
