Abstract: Artikel atau tulisan ini bertujuan untuk untuk mengetahui strategi humas Kejaksaan Tinggi Sumatera Utara dalam membangun citra positif kepada masyarakat . Masalah difokuskan pada Citra Kejaksaan Tinggi SUMUT serta hambatan yang dialami pada humas Kejaksaan Tinggi Sumut. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Deskriptif Kualitatif dengan menentukan informan peneliti menggunakan teknik purposive sampling memilih 5 informan dalam penelitian. Guna mendekati masalah ini dipergunakan acuan teori dari Ronald D. Smith yaitu Teori Strategi Humas dengan 4 fase yaitu Formative research, Strategy phase, Tactic phase, Evaluative phase. Data-data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, & Dokumentasi dan dianalisis secara kualitatif. Kajian ini menyimpulkan bahwa Kejaksaan Tinggi SUMUT sebagai kelembagaan yang dipercaya untuk menegakkan hukum dari Kejaksaan RI menjalankan starategi melalui program kerja yaitu Jaksa Daring, Jaksa Masuk Sekolah, dan Jaksa Menyapa. Strategi yang dilakukan dapat meningkatkan citra positif dan kepercayaan masyarakat dilihat pada publikasi kinerja dan respon masyarakat secara langsung maupun virtual namun dalam menjalankan program kerja nya Kejaksaan Tinggi SUMUT menemukan hambatan seperti kurang nya sumber daya manusia dan anggaran dana dalam menjalankan program kerja yang telah dibentuk. This article or writing aims to find out public relations strategies North Sumatra High Prosecutor's Office in building a positive image for public . The problem is focused on the image of the North Sumatra High Prosecutor's Office as well obstacles experienced by the public relations of the North Sumatra High Prosecutor's Office. This research using the Qualitative Descriptive method by determining research informants using purposive sampling technique to select 5 informants in the research. In order to approach this problem, a theoretical reference from Ronald D. Smith is used, namely Public Relations Strategy Theory with 4 phases, namely Formative research, Strategy phase, Tactical phase, Evaluative phase. Data is collected through observation, interviews, & Documentation and analyzed qualitatively. This study concluded that the North Sumatra High Prosecutor's Office is an institution that entrusted to enforce the law from the Indonesian Attorney General's Office to carry out the strategy through work programs, namely Online Prosecutor, School Entry Prosecutor, and Prosecutor Greet. The strategies carried out can increase a positive image and Public trust is seen in the publication of performance and public response directly or virtually, but in carrying out the work program The North Sumatra High Prosecutor's Office found obstacles such as a lack of resources human resources and budget funds in carrying out work programs that have been established.
