Abstract: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan work engagement dengankinerja karyawan di Pusat Penelitian Kelapa Sawit Marihat Pematangsiantar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif. Teknik pengambilansampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah total sampling, yaitu seluruhkaryawan yang ada di Pusat Penelitian Kelapa Sawit Marihat Pematangsiantar yang berjumlah 54 orang karyawan. Skala pengukuran dalam penelitian inimenggunakan skala likert. Data yang diperoleh selanjutnya dilakukan uji validitasdan uji reabilitas. Kemudian analisis data yang dilakukan adalah uji normalitas, uji linearitas, korelasi product moment, perhitungan mean hipotetik dan mean empirik, serta uji hipotesis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat korelasi positif antarawork engagement dengan kinerja karyawan di PPKS Marihat, dimana nilai rxy0,936 dan nilai signifikan p = 0,000 (p < 0,05). Dengan hasil tersebut, hipotesisdalam penelitian ini diterima. Kondisi ini menunjukan bahwa semakin tinggi work engagement maka semakin tinggi kinerja karawan dan sebaliknya. Hasil lain yangdiperoleh dalam penelitian ini adalah nilai koefisien determinan (r2) antara kedua variabel yaitu r2 = 0,877. Kondisi ini menunjukan bahwa work engagementmemberikan pengaruh sebesar 87,7%terhadap kinerja karyawan dan sebesar12,3% merupakan faktor-faktor lain yang tidak dimasukkan pada penelitian ini.Kemudian work engagement pada karyawan di PPKS Marihat tergolong rendah,hal ini ditandai dengan melihat perbandingan nilai dari mean hipotetik dan meanempirik yaitu (75 > 65,50) dan kinerja karyawan juga tergolong rendah, hal iniditandai dengan melihat perbandingan nilai dari mean hipotetik dan mean empirik yaitu (82,5 > 75,41). This research aims to determine the relationship between work engagement and employee performance at the Marihat Pematangsiantar Palm Oil Research Center. This research uses quantitative research methods. The sampling technique used in this research was total sampling, namely all employees at the Marihat Pematangsiantar Palm Oil Research Center. totaling 54 employees. The measurement scale in this research uses a Likert scale. The data obtained was then subjected to validity and reliability tests. Then the data analysis carried out was a normality test linearity, product moment correlation, calculation of hypothetical mean and empirical mean, and hypothesis testing. The research results show that there is a positive correlation between work engagement and employee performance at PPKS Marihat, where the rxy value is 0.936 and the significant value is p = 0.000 (p < 0.05). With these results, the hypothesis in this study is accepted. This condition shows that the higher the work engagement, the higher the employee's performance and vice versa. Another result obtained in this research is the value of the determinant coefficient (r2) between the two variable, namely r2 = 0.877. This condition shows that work engagement has an influence of 87.7% on employee performance and 12.3% is another factor that was not included in this research. Then work engagement among employees at PPKS Marihat is relatively low, this is indicated by looking at the comparison of values from the hypothetical mean and empirical mean, namely (75 > 65.50) and employee performance is also relatively low, this is indicated by looking at the comparison of the values ​​of the hypothetical mean and empirical mean (82.5 > 75.41).
