Abstract: | Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh komunikasi organisasi dan locus of control terhadap tingkat job insecurity. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan sebanyak 104 karyawan dari beberapa perusahaan layanan konsultasi yang berfokus pada menjembatani kesenjangan antara bisnis dan teknologi informasi. Dengan menggunakan teknik pengambilan sampel purposive sampling (Berbeda dengan teknik sampling acak, purposive sampling lebih bersifat subjektif karena peneliti menggunakan pengetahuan dan pengalaman mereka untuk menentukan sampel yang dianggap paling representatif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini diketahui bahwa komunikasi organisasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap tingkat job insecurity. Hal ini disimpulkan berdasarkan hasil uji signifikansi parsial (uji-t) dengan perolehan nilai t hitung sebesar 3,650 > t tabel 1,660 dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,00 < 0,05. Komunikasi organisasi dapat mempengaruhi tingkat job insecurity dengan cara yang signifikan dan positif karena komunikasi yang efektif dapat memberikan kejelasan dan transparansi mengenai peran, tanggung jawab, dan masa depan pekerjaan karyawan. Lalu hasil penelitian ini diketahui bahwa locus of control berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap tingkat job insecurity. Hal ini disimpulkan berdasarkan hasil uji signifikansi parsial (uji-t) dengan perolehan nilai t hitung sebesar 2,938 > t tabel 1,660 dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,00 < 0,05. Locus of control adalah konsep psikologis yang merujuk pada sejauh mana individu percaya bahwa mereka memiliki kontrol terhadap peristiwa yang mempengaruhi hidup mereka. Selanjutnya hasil penelitian ini diketahui bahwa komunikasi organisasi dan locus of control berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap tingkat job insecurity. Hal ini disimpulkan berdasarkan hasil uji signifikansi parsial (uji-t) dengan perolehan nilai F hitung sebesar 10,54 > t tabel 1,660 dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,00 < 0,05. Kemudian berdasarkan hasil koefisien determinasi (R2) dalam penelitian ini dapat dilihat bahwa perolehan nilai Adjusted R Square sebesar 0,156 yang artinya dalam penelitian ini komunikasi organisasi dan locus of control memiliki kontribusi sebesar 15,6% terhadap job insecurity, dan selebihnya sebesar 84,4% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain diluar penelitian ini. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of organizational communication and locus of control on the level of job insecurity. This research is a quantitative study with 104 employees from several consulting service companies that focus on bridging the gap between business and information technology. By using purposive sampling technique (Unlike random sampling techniques, purposive sampling is more subjective because researchers use their knowledge and experience to determine the sample that is considered the most representative. Based on the results of this study, it is known that organizational communication has a positive and significant effect on the level of job insecurity. This is concluded based on the results of the partial significance test (t-test) with the acquisition of the t value of 3.650> t table 1.660 with a significance value of 0.00 <0.05. Organizational communication can affect the level of job insecurity in a significant and positive way because effective communication can provide clarity and transparency regarding employees' roles, responsibilities, and job future. Then the results of this study found that locus of control has a positive and significant effect on the level of job insecurity. This is concluded based on the results of the partial significance test (t-test) with the acquisition of the t value of 2.938> t table 1.660 with a significance value of 0.00 <0.05. Locus of control is a psychological concept that refers to the extent to which individuals believe they have control over events that affect their lives. Furthermore, the results of this study found that organizational communication and locus of control have a positive and significant effect on the level of job insecurity. This is concluded based on the results of the partial significance test (t-test) with the acquisition of the calculated F value of 10.54> t table 1.660 with a significance value of 0.00 <0.05. Then based on the results of the coefficient of determination (R2) in this study it can be seen that the acquisition of the Adjusted R Square value of 0.156, which means that in this study organizational communication and locus of control have a contribution of 15.6% to job insecurity, and the remaining 84.4% is influenced by other variables outside this study. |
