Abstract: Model creative art bisa menjadi alternatif solusi dalam pembelajaran di sekolah, karena model creative art ini adalah model pembelajaran dengan cara bermain yang memandang anak secara holistik. Salah satu model creative art yang dapat digunakan adalah movement. Dalam bermain, anak-anak melakukan kegiatan kreatif dengan mengungkapkan berbagai simbol ekspresi melalui gerak. Pengalaman berekspresi seperti itu memungkinkan anak-anak untuk menemukan sesuatu yang menarik, sehingga ia dapat mengetahui bagaimana bergerak, mempergunakan gerak, serta mengembangkan kemampuannya melalui simbol-simbol ekspresi yang mereka lihat, dengar, dan rasakan. Untuk mengembangkan karakter tangguh dan sains pada anak, model creative art dalam bermain movement dapat dijadikan alternatif dalam pembelajaran di Taman Kanak-kanak. Penelitian dengan model creative art dalam movement mengambil populasi anak usia 5-6 tahun (kelompok B) di TK AL Ihsan dan TK Medina yang berjumlah 30 anak. Besar sample sebanyak 8 anak diambil secara random yang dibagi dalam dua kelompok, 4 anak diberi perlakuan konvensional dan 4 anak lainnya diberikan perlakuan dengan model creative art dalam bermain movement. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian pengembangan (research and development) dilaksanakan dalam empat tahap yang dinamakan 4D (define, design, develop, disseminate) Data yang dikumpulkan menggunakan lembar observasi untuk mengukur pengembangan karakter tangguh dan sains anak. Sedangkan pretest dan postest digunakan untuk mengukur pengembangan karakter tangguh dan sains anak sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan. Analisis data menggunakan persentasi. Hasilnya menunjukkan adanya peningkatan karakter tangguh anak sebesar 90% dan peningkatan perkembangan sains sebesar 95% menggunakan model creative art. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran dengan model creative art dapat meningkatkan karakter tangguh dan sains anak. Untuk itu disarankan agar model creative art dalam bermain movement sebagai alternative dalam mengembangkan karakter tangguh dan sains anak di Taman kanak-kanak. The creative art model can be an alternative solution in learning at school, because this creative art model is a learning model by playing which views children holistically. One of the creative art models that can be used is movement. In playing, children carry out creative activities by expressing various symbols of expression through movement. Such expressive experiences allow children to find something interesting, so that they can find out how to move, use movement, and develop their abilities through the symbols of expression that they see, hear, and feel. To develop strong character and science in children, the creative art model in playing movement can be used as an alternative in learning in kindergarten. The research with the creative art model in the movement took the population of children aged 5-6 years (group B) at AL Ihsan Kindergarten and Medina Kindergarten which numbered 30 children. Sample size of 8 children was taken randomly divided into two groups, 4 children were given conventional treatment and 4 other children were treated with creative art models in playing movement. The method used is research and development carried out in four stages called 4D (define, design, develop, disseminate) Data collected using an observation sheet to measure the development of strong character and child science. While the pretest and posttest were used to measure the development of strong character and science of children before and after treatment. Analysis of data using percentages. The results showed an increase in the tough character of children by 90% and an increase in the development of science by 95% using the creative art model. Thus it can be concluded that learning with creative art models can improve the tough character and science of children. For this reason, it is recommended that the creative art model in playing the movement be an alternative in developing the resilient character and science of children in kindergarten.
